[2.5] CI/LL Blight CwC Poison Vortex over 2M DPS Trivialize all content [Tri-Curse/HC Viable]
see this ring chaos damage to attacks works for Blight and vortex?

" Look at my character dragon_blight. All I did was swap shawl for shavs, and upgraded chayula. For gems, I swapped to double blasphemy with enlighten, and put discipline on blood magic. |

" Not likely, both are classified as spells and not attacks. It would apply that chaos damage to actual classified 'attack' skills, Blight doesn't even do damage in the normal sense (stacking DoT). So I'm not sure if that has works with on-hit effects. Last edited by reciprocate#3631 on Dec 31, 2016, 6:02:59 PM

While this build is ES and uses leech + VP, you need to understand that this is not BV/FS/ST. You cannot outleech high damage and facetank. You can outleech mob packs, reflect and lower damage/slow attacking bosses. You need to move out of the way of those big channeled/fast high damage attacks. That's why we have perma chill + temp chains + Wicked Ward, to be able to easily move out of the way and recover ES. Surviving is as simple as seeing the attack slowly wind up, WB through them and keep attacking as the boss whiffs. As this build has gotten more popular, I've been getting more and more questions about surviving Guardians and higher content since they aren't able to leech fast enough. After asking how they are approaching the boss, almost every response is that they stand there and try to out leech every attack the boss throws at them. My response to them is the same as I listed on my guide:
- Cannot facetank everything in the game when the playstyle will make you think you can (though it will facetank 99% of things). If that is a dealbreaker for you in deciding on a build to play, I would direct you to the BF/BV/HoWA builds if you're looking to facetank Shaper Beam and stuff. It's also probably possible to just swap vortex out for firestorm and blight for wither on bosses if you really want to facetank. If you're used to playing builds that can't do that, then this will be no different. I really don't have any other advice to surviving bosses other than don't facetank everything, because that seems to be the problem for most people. If that is not your issue, then I will be more than happy to look at your gear. You can look to my Minotaur fight to see how you need to approach bosses in higher maps. https://youtu.be/bVsjkuwsP4Q?t=3m5s Last edited by dragonsroc#6774 on Jan 1, 2017, 1:27:55 PM

Picked up this build as a starter for Breach and I have to say after the initial hardships in the early 70 levels when I had to work with quite small ES pool the build began to shine as I've gotten much better gears. So far lvl 89, 9k ES and haven't had any problems with most endgame content, though I have yet to fight Chayula since her breaches are so damn rare. Overall really cool build.

Hey mate.
Started out this build yesterday and now lv 79 with 9.5k ES, this is a blast to play. I didn't think I would find another build to enjoy as much as KotF but I clearly did. Thanks a lot for that. Do you think there would be an easy weapon swap to change poison to ignite damages with smth like Doryani's for poison immune guardians ? Wouldn't it make them easier ? |
