[2.6] CRIT HoWA BF/ST Raider [13k ES, 60k BF/265k GMP ST DPS, Stun-immune] [4 sec Chayula kill]

This is my gear:


I self crafted the helm - 20c or so
The HoWA's were about 60c each - divined one of them to make it nicer.
A good (but not perfect) Astramentis is about 1ex to 1.5ex
My rings were about 25c each
I self crafted the belt - spent about 30c on normal crystal base, and then maybe 20 or so on essences; it's missing int, so I have another belt that I throw essences at every once in a while.
The gloves were 15c
The boots were 3ex
I spent 9ex on the chest and then bought 1500 fuse and then exalted a resist - 15ex total
I spent probably 3ex or so on various jewels

Total outlay is about 25ex or so.

My gear could be massively improved all over the place - but that would be very expensive. Meanwhile, I have a very solid toon able to clear all content.

There's enough variance in crit HoWA gear that you can choose gear that's not too expensive and self-craft some other pieces to fill in the gaps to come up with a solid toon that won't be out of the reach of serious players. The trick is to not insist on top gear and look for budget items.

Invalesco's Frost Blade build is really interesting too - gear should be more affordable for that build but I suspect that you'd end up with a build that cleared maps faster but did not do as well against bosses.

Could you maybe give ur opinion on spending that 80 EX budget, there is no point for me to gear HoWA for 30 EX if i have like 80.

How much more i can get out of it?

How much EX would u spent on different pieces to get the best outcome?

hankinsohl got pretty good deals on some of his gear, I would expect a setup like that to cost more if you are looking to buy it. ST Damage enchant for instance can be as much as 8ex for a white one although this varies. He also obviously got pretty lucky getting a T2 resist when he exalt slammed his chest; Something like that already rolled I'd expect to go for 20-25ex rather than 10. A good crystal belt with 2 resists, Int, and a spot for crafted WED probably will run several exalts also.

Builds finally works like it supposed to be... have still more than enough to upgrade but its manageable. 75k GMP Hideout (175k fully buffed, but without power charges... only flasks and frenzy) with slower projectiles i´m fully buffed at 300k also without power charges since i didn´t found a way to gain power charges.

You would need something like HoI + Curse on Hit with Assassin for Power Charges while mapping. to get some more DPS at bosses you can use Jaws of Agony on switch or

2-10 ex for each ring
~2-10 ex for amulet or 1.5-2 ex for Astra
25-40 ex for 900+ armor
15 ex for culling 12% HOWA
30 c for 12% HOWA
4-15 ex for boots or ~40 ex for Skyforth
1-5 ex for gloves or 10c for Shaper's Touch
2-10 ex for belt
10 ex for 350+ bf/st helm(disclaimer, I play bf so I'm not 100% sure on st)
.5-3 ex for each jewel

Level gems for 20/20 or pay 1-5ex(haven't checked) on lvl21 or qual23% gems.

I'm currently at level 88. I can clear Shaped Strand with no problems. I haven't tried anything above that though.

Based on my current gear (FlurryOfBubbles is the character), would I be better served saving up for a 6L Regalia or buying a Vinktar?

Hey there i wanna try play this build but i was wondering if you could make like a skilltree for lvl 70 where is taken all the mandatory nodes?

I clearly dont need any more dps, even without power charges T15 bosses are a joke and die in 2-3seconds. Guardians also die very fast and are in general pretty easy (except Mintotaur) did today 6 chayula breaches and didn´t died once. Chayula died after 4-5 seconds

For those seeking alternative methods to generate power charges - if you're already using a pair of shapers touch gloves, you might wanna get a corrupted pair with 'grants assassins mark' (those aren't looking expensive at the moment) and link whirling blades, faster attacks, fortify and curse on hit in it. You'll effectively get a 5L curse set up which shouldnt hinder your gameplay style by much and should make generating power charges versus mobs/bosses with adds much more fluid
