" Heya! It's largely dependent on how much base int (and thus base lightning damage) you already have as well as how many frenzy charges you already have. In your case, crackling speed appears to edge out the extra frenzy charge by a tiny tiny amount. In actual gameplay however, you might have a more fun time with the extra frenzy charge because it'll improve your movement speed as well. " Heya, your gear is pretty nice! Your DPS is also quite respectable considering you're using ICD as your 6th link and not Elemental Focus. Your jewels are rather lacking however. Also, I will change your boots accordingly: Since you're talking about budget boots (although I have no idea why, its not like you can't afford better boots seeing as the rest of your gear is GG and you have a level 4 enlighten and level 4 empower), I'll replace your Kaom's Roots with an even cheaper pair of boots: Sin Trek

 While we're at it, let's stop restricting you to uniques, because the version with Unwavering Stance doesn't have to be restricted by a single pair of boots. Let's replace the corrupted Sin Trek with a good rare pair of ES boots (let's use mine), its not like you can't afford it after all! Since a good rare will also give you res, we can afford to switch your res jewels for your best dps jewel: Rapture Slicer. Your DPS will then be:

 Since we're talking about temporal chains... Well, do you really think its that big a deal? I mean, a good pair of boots can give you a movement speed bonus if you so wish. In addition, you will maybe only run temp chains maps like 15-20% of the time. Either way, let's compare Kaoms Roots on a Temp Chains map versus a pair of boots with 30% movement speed. https://youtu.be/2tF7Drqt9Xs I'm not sure about you, but it doesn't strike me as there being too significant a difference between the two, and even if Kaom's Roots edges out the rare pair of boots in this scenario with temp chains, it is more than balanced out during the other 80-85% of the time by the 30% movement speed on a good rare in a map without temp chains. Lastly, since we're talking about curses in maps, you character has 5454 accuracy rating whereas the last variant of your character that I posted has 6415 accuracy rating. This means the version with Unwavering Stance will have higher DPS in a map with enfeeble than your current variant without unwavering. Here's the code if you wish to verify it:

In summary, contrary to your belief, your character is actually better with Unwavering Stance than without, especially as it will add more versatility to your character with the availability of additional gearing options. OP Could add your version of the build to the post as a Rich Mans version. However, I can pretty much do everything in the game and fast enough with the current version. The Koams version, would just make cold maps and TC, less annoying. |

" I havent played much since 1.0. I see Immortal Call going off, but maybe its the Gem thats confusing me. I dont see a buff happen, or is it just for 1 second. Without looking, I recall the gem says base duration is 4 seconds? Maybe thats per charge expended. Anyways, ill keep using it. Ty for the reply. |

" IC has 0.4s base duration. Basically what you're doing with the setup is creating a half second of physical immunity. The main place this helps is when you run into a big pack of Porcupine Goliaths; their death explosion deals fairly heavy physical damage, and when 15+ of them hit you in rapid succession it tends to be really bad, especially because you hit them and leech off of them a split second before the projectiles hit you so you often have no leech going while you take the damage. IC+CwDT makes them substantially less dangerous. |
