Hi,
Sorry if the content of this post seems stupid to you, but I really need help. I started playing POE recently and I chose to do this build as my first character build. I have been very lucky on my leveling phase drops, I'm now level 80 and I have about 4EX worth of currency, which hopefully should be enough to do something. I have followed your build, but my damage isn't "that" great and I'm dying too much, mostly to physical damage and enemies who use lightning ARC. I feel like I'm missing something obvious to ramp up my damage so normal mobs die to the 1st-2nd detonation instead of the 4-5th. Here is my current setup, I would really appreciate if someone could take a look at it and tell me what's wrong with it. Current setup

Well I just ran a -max, temp chains, enfeeble, double monster dmg & cast speed phoenix...

" Hello, I'm new to this build and loving it so much but can you go check my profile for awhile cuz my DPS on LL gear is a bit lowwer than yours. Do the 21 lvl gems make a very big difference? My unbuffed DPS with Conc is 6k7, fully buffed is nearly 9k5. Tks for the build btw. |

" I see you already change elemental focus. Yeah, you choose right, mine and trap damage is one of the best support here, cause it's double dipping everything. But instead of added chaos or void manipulation, i would probably run increase aoe/concentrated effect on bosses. Increase aoe is really quality of life, when leveling/mapping, and conc effect on bosses will give more damage than added chaos. Get rid of "high explosive" node in the tree, it's only good before you go into chaos conversion. Also, i highly recommend get eye of chayula, personally i can't even play without stun immunity, vile bastion isn't helping at all if you get swarmed even by few monsters. About dying - 5.5k ES is quite small ammount, so you should be especially carefull. Well, technically if you get hit by physical damage so much - you should just place your mines away from mobs and detonate them when they approaching you. About arc - don't forget that you must not make your mana fall under 30% or you will get 100% more spell damage. When i was leveling, i'm too - cursed and cursed about infernal mantle, when i can't use discipline, and get destroyed on low mana. Maybe incandecent heart will be better, you'll get slightly less damage, but will get armor against phys damage, also will reduce elemental damage taken by you by huge 25%. Also, your distribution of resistances is a mess. Your fire res isn't capped, but your cold res overcapped by 86%, and lightning res by 51%. |

I'm still completely lost as to how you got the enchant of "faster starts to energy shield" on your rings. Elreon can't do that can he?

" I'm lost as to how it's easy >< I just ran a Chimera with simple mods and got jacked up. I'm doing more damage than most of the other characters I made in the past but still nowhere near what I was expecting and i'm extremely squishy. Please check out my gear and help me out. " Well, for starters, what do you expect from guardian that completely immune to poison? Are you aware that 90% of damage on this build comes from the poison stacking? Pretty much almost all of your damage |
