Hi guys!
I play this build at lvl 85. I must miss something but I die all the time on T10 maps as soon as I put some strong mods on the map. Can someone take a look at my character (Bellemichto) and tell me if I got anything wrong?
For now, that seems to me to be a very strong boss killer but it sucks at mapping (slow and dangerous). Actually my witch is soooo slow I sometimes don't have time to place and detonate mines that I'm already dead (I don't even speak of breaches...). Please change my mind.
You basically, don't have damage. Why did you have minion damage nodes and lord of the dead?
Fire nova mine 17 lvl is also too little. 10k damage per poison on 85 lvl is absurdly low.
But if you are dead even before you placed the mines - it's another issue. You place mines too far in enemy lines. Just run along on the map, see mobs - place mine, detonate - continue to run. It was always like this for me. This mine pulses also pretty much stunning everything that isn't a boss, so never was a problem. If talking about breaches - place mine under you and detonate. Before it finishes pulsing - go to the edge of your aoe and place another mine - detonate - ... repeat until breach is closed. There is no way that something can kill you when you stay in detonated mine, too much damage for them, nothing can swarm you there.
Well, for that you need damage of course, if mobs finished only by 3-4th wave - it's not good
P.S. Ah, also level of blasphemy, and temporal chains themselves gives aoe. A really good chunk of aoe, so maybe they just didn't afflicted with it fast enough?
Thanks a lot for ur quick answer. I forgot I had these 3 minions node taken^^ when I respected from necro to occultist. I'll try to play like u say. As you mentionned, I usually flicker into the pack, place mine and flicker out but that's a dangerous way to live. On breaches, I do like u say but when u got some range mobs all around u...it gets really hard
Thanks for your help Med1umentor. Yes, leveled temp/blasph are absolutely huge but quality is amazing too. Temp goes from at level 20 from 29% to 39% slower enemies with quality, blasph gives it 10% effect on quality, and with 10% effect on tree things get slowed down by a lot. Taking skill effect duration too pushed my single initial poison dot to become 40k on PoB.
Your method for mines is also pretty good, but for rares in breaches u need more mines to pulse so they die faster. It takes time to get used to the playstyle, but if you follow everything I do you will be just fine. Everything I took is for a reason, but there's always room for good improvements if there are any left ^^
T10 maps are a joke for me, my ES doesn't even go below full due to massive recharge/less damage from mobs in general. Only at rippy t16 maps with crit I sometimes can get ahead of myself and whirl into breach monsters.. very dangerous for any build without leech really.

Well I got some higher level gems and the build works better for me. Currently running t13 without much trouble. I made a few changes on your build though: use enfeeble instead of wither (I'm currently not using the witchfire brew). Planning to take the +1 curse node in the tree added to my chayula instead of the skill duration node u took. Why do you take them actually? Is it just for wither and immortal call or do I miss something? Also I took the High Explosive keystone and the +20% AOE point behind to farm faster. What do you think of these changes? It makes the build smoother to play imo

You don't buff the explosive AOE, just the trigger area. But yea, the penetration for the remaining fire dmg is alright.
Sorry, if I missed it, but I guess in old version there was mana as first bandit point. Is it not needed anymore? Because we can deplete our mana now instead of keeping 30%+?

Yes. Also because flat max mana isn't a big deal, since 500 unreserved mana after discc/blasph is enough already.

Not really, it's actually garbage. Contributes literally nothing to the build, 200 dps on already 38k dmg per stack.

To be quite frank with you none of the changes you made are good. AOE doesn't apply to your skill, it's just detonation radius, completely useless.
I don't get how you can run enfeeble tc and disc, it's impossible unless you're self-cursing. Vuln is a massive dps boost. On 20 wither stacks and vuln, i'm sitting on 34,098,678 dps without crit flask. When I remove vuln, it goes down to 27,091,335- a big chunk dps loss. Also It's not possible to run enfeeble.
Taking skill effect duration on tree gives me 150k dps more per poison, if I don't have it. I drop from 34 million to 23 million dps. That's a bigger hit than witchfire and vuln.
