Garena SEA closes

This merge sucks big time for people in Standard and Hardcore league. From what i know SEA had quite a few events that gave you a shit ton more items, and you could buy respecs and such.

For people sticking to leagues like essence it wont be much of a difference.

what were the alternatives? maintaining realm servers exclusively for sea?

buying respecs for real money was a thing but it's gone now. and "more items" is no problem either for the permanent leagues which are non-competitive in difference to temp leagues.

PPl could give mtx ro whoever like, i wonder how many ppl bought gg mtx with exalts or whatever.

what's wrong with that?

if they restrict how many points worth of presents an account can receive per month it would be a nice method to gift a friend who doesn't have a credit card or any money at all to keep them playing.

ggg already does presents on request with no guarantee and supports direct point transfers in guilds.
