They were very easy to get, actually! If you participated in at least 15 races and got 1 point in each. The trick is that it was Season 1. Very few people were participating in racing or even knew how to do it effectively.

And prices on them, last I checked, where anywhere from 50-150 exalted orbs. This is in Hardcore. I don't play standard, so I can't buy them in Standard unless I want to RIP a fortune over to that league and purchase one there that I can't use in HC until GGG releases permanent skin transfers.

I expect prices on alt art redbeaks (that 150 ex quote) will plummet the more people know about the incoming wave of SEA season rewards.

I see, never knew that. Already there is one for a mere 20 exalts on standard but I'm not sure that is the price with response to the flood of SEA art.

For super rare item's like alpha's and starkonja i doubt the value will drop under 9000 as listed :) unless im greatly under estimating the number of SEA racers.

Also, you're right. I doubt the value of the more recent HIGH reward items will drop significantly, if at all. But it still feels cheap that Garena players could earn such prizes with half of the effort.

Unless Garena racers had less races to participate in or received half of the points we did.

EDIT: Just checked HC prices on alt art redbeaks for an update. Looks like that 150 ex guy is still there, but there are a few at more reasonable levels. Merge should throw some more into the batter as well.

This entire Garena migration, urged me to go and have a peek at version Taiwan. Damn hard to manouver the site if you dont know where the english button is (if they even have one).

It seems they organized all the same seasons from season 9 up till Medallion season. The rewards are all similar as well except for the very first season where they also awarded the Season 2 Tabula Rasa and Season 5 Stormcloud. I have no sight how many of these were rewarded though. But judging the ranking of the profile I found, probably a lot more than on either Russia Garena and SE Garena.

The link you provided seems to have fair reward prices for Taiwan's Season 1. Tabula is same price as ours. Bringer of Rain is 40 points cheaper, but that's not a 50% discount like some of the other bullshit we've seen. It's also worth noting their Stormcloud was harder to get than ours was - 60 points in Taiwan compared to our 14.

I look forward to grabbing some of the Season 1 rewards that will come with the SEA migration. A different tag, or text in another language doesn't bother me. I just want the 3D art.

Alt art alpha: our season 10 had 120 events and required 500 points. Their S5 had 72 events and required 250 points. So it was slightly easier to get the Alpha but not exactly twice as easy (assuming events had the same available points). There are 40 more Alphas incoming vs. 128 won in S10.

some streamers probably use an overlay for nostalgic reasons.
or to hide the current retty generic + uninspirational ui decoration.

i wonder if they made the old ui available as a mtx, how many people would use it.


sadly that's a theoretical question as they will never release client side modifications as mtx features.
never ever, because the resulting support trouble after they lured players into modifying client side resouces for a small financial gain would be counter productive.

Also to add..

There are:
2x alt art atziri mirror
18x alt art carnage heart
In Garena SEA server.

Garena had a local carnival event
Whoever participated a 12min race and won was rewarded an alt art carnage heart.

Grand winner each day got an alt art atziri mirror.

From my knowledge 1 of the alt art atziri mirror holder was banned, reasons unknown to me. Another held by an active player.

Just sharing this info to whomever think it's critical info.
