Garena SEA closes
the most rare alt arts which are also the best looking ones and most expensive, will still be as rare as now
nothing will change for example the alt art void battery, 9 got it, 7 of them have a last visit of more than 6 months ago the alt art headhunter there will be probably 10 of the 40 released, so 75% of hh are from long time inactive players the inflow of alt arts it's going to be much much lower than all the alt arts from russian garena Last edited by InAshesTheyShallReap#0055 on Nov 4, 2016, 4:35:13 PM

Is Garena SEA the one that has the nice tutorial windows and tooltips to explain the game to new people? I want that to come here.
Also I'm happy to play 100% solo and 98% self found when I see those alt art issues that crash those markets. I'm keeping all mine. |

" how did they handle that issue with the garena cis (russia) realm? age and treachery will triumph over youth and skill! Last edited by vio#1992 on Nov 4, 2016, 4:43:39 PM

As far as I rememebr, names in Russian Garena were cyrillic-only.

I think you can pick new account name when you merge. Not sure about character names though. Perhaps they will change into random symbols and you'll have to ask support to rename?
I still regret I left my Каом in garena, someone took this name here:( |

" I have very mixed feelings on this SEA migration. As some one who only started racing seriously in Season 3, this seems like a boon to me. I've wanted an alt art redbeak for less than 150+ ex for a while now. It's very likely I'll be able to grab one now. As some one who's raced seriously past season 3 and has an alt art Alpha's Howl, it seems like a slap in the face that SEA got their race rewards at a 50% discount. Why has this happened twice now? That's what I want to know. I understand it would be unfair to remove earned rewards from players that participated in SEA's race seasons and I agree with the decision to allow them to keep these items in the merge. However, it is unfair that Garena SEA and Russia received their rewards with less points than US/EU players. Why do they get a 50% discount on race points for season rewards? I'm beginning to wonder if I need to play on other Garena servers despite any ping lag so that I can apply minimal effort for alt arts and demigods. If there are even any left. I just want to know who made the decision to give Garena cheaper rewards, and why. Were there less races in their seasons? Less races, less chance to get points, cheaper rewards. Makes sense. But is that the case? Or did they have as many as we did, and were just given a discount for an incentive to participate? That seems to cheapen the experience for us. What bothers me the most is that people saying this doesn't deflate current alt art prices are wrong (in my eyes). I know there are collectors out there who will prize the "real" ones more than Garena-tagged ones (if they haven't already lost their damn mind over the huge influx). But I only collect alt arts for their 3D (or potential future 3D) art (which is why I view alt art jewelry as useless). Tags don't matter to me, and I'm positive people who want skins won't give a shit either. You can't see that an alternate art redbeak came from SEA when being skinned; the tag means nothing. /rant Bring back race seasons. Last edited by AbdulAlhazred#4759 on Nov 5, 2016, 2:49:12 AM

" Were theses especially rare? Why on earth would it be worth 150 ex alt art of otherwise? IGN: Arlianth

" They were very easy to get, actually! If you participated in at least 15 races and got 1 point in each. The trick is that it was Season 1. Very few people were participating in racing or even knew how to do it effectively. So, think about how few people from pre-release bothered to race and won a redbeak. And now think about how many of those people still play AND are willing to sell that reward item. Keep in mind low-tier race items weren't just given away like candy as random prizes like they are now. This limits the amount of alternate art redbeak on the market. And prices on them, last I checked, where anywhere from 50-150 exalted orbs. This is in Hardcore. I don't play standard, so I can't buy them in Standard unless I want to RIP a fortune over to that league and purchase one there that I can't use in HC until GGG releases permanent skin transfers. I expect prices on alt art redbeaks (that 150 ex quote) will plummet the more people know about the incoming wave of SEA season rewards. Bring back race seasons.
