Thanks for the feedback, will be deploying a fix for both of these issues.
Some more customization may come in the future.

The updating process is automated. Once the new version is available, it will directly be downloaded.

Which version are you using? 1.11.3, 1.12.BETA_4?
Could you tell when exactly does it ask for the game location? Does it happen only once upon starting the tool, or every time you click on a button?

The app will ask you to choose which instance to monitor if you have multiple instances of POE running.
Also, it will ask you to choose which instance to send the message to if the PID is no longer available when you click a button (for example, your game crashed).

Hi, yes I'm using that 1.12.BETA_14 version and I only have 1 instance of PoE running, it happens sometimes when I change anything and click on save and preview changes, it asks for game location then I click on the icon of PoE, the game opens and when I alt tab the game location appears there and I press OK, then the game opens again and it starts working, but sometimes the hotkeys dont work, and I have to save and preview changes to start working again, it's really confusing and I don't know how to explain myself exactly.
I play on fullscreen because I have a lot of fps drop in windowed or windowed fullscreen, it does the same job really but sems a bit buggy detecting the game instance sometimes, so I asked if there is a command I can use to save the game instance so everytime when I run the program it doesnt ask?

Would you fix this?

There is a "GameLogs=(path/to/client.txt)" cmd-line parameter but it will not work in your case as it is only used if there are multiple instances of the game running in different folders when the tool starts.

• Set it as: Trades_GUI_Mode=Window

I started re-writting the tool from scratch, to make it more robust.
Code wise, the tool in its current state is a real mess.
Currently I'm having some fun with the new league, but once I take a little break from it I'll get back to that.

Recently my invite button started dumping my clipboard into chat. So if I had recently used poe.trade, and then someone messaged me to trade, it would message the last person I traded with asking to trade the same item again. I know it's dumping the clipboard because I copy / paste "~price 1 chaos" when doing my chaos recipe tab and it dumps that into local chat when someone messages me to trade and i click invite.

How to change text of "Thank you" message? I dont like it, i want to make it better))

P.S. Found it! Head to \Users\Documents\AutoHotkey\POE Trades Companion\Preferences

Were your running TradeMacro when the issue occured?

Actually, there is no need to externally edit the Preferences.ini file.
You can access the Settings GUI by right clicking on the tray icon.

You may want to take a look at the GitHub Wiki

Example: I am in a map. I get a trade message. I expand the program and reply with one of the predefined messages. After that i have to click minimize again to shrink the program.

Suggestion: add an option to auto minimize after replying to a message.

This feature is already part of the tool.
Make sure you are using the latest available beta then set the button's action to "Send Message + Minimize"

Yes i do have trade macro going all the time
