You cant generalize the results of a small poll to be representative of the whole. If that was true then medicine would kill everyone. You cant publish the results of a study in any scientific based area and generalize the results as applicable to any one. You would never be respected for over zelous assumptions.

Polls are a form of study and by default are inherently flawed due to non response bias. Not every one who sees this will respond and as such you cant make any assumptions other than what is presented. Less than 50 people dislike lab and have made it known by responding to this poll.

You're going to want to hit at least 5% of the playerbase to learn anything and I would be really surprised if that many people even visited the forums more than to make an account.

My point exactly. More than 70k players play poe actively. Not counting bots. Based on chris wilsons words himself as well as steamspy which provides numerous in depth statistics on players in POE.

More than 3500 people would have to publicly make known that they dislike lab to even consider lab has any issues. To be a majority 35k+ people would have ro say they dislike lab. Thats never gong to happen so based on facts alone it is clear lab haters will forever always be a minority of 3% or less unless proven otherwise.

I actually dont care what the results say. It is just a way of showing how many people dislike lab, if they participate. The last poll was heavily manipulated with duplicate votes and represented unrealistic number of players. My poll is hack proof, i can see how many votes are presented and from where. In order to make a duplicate vote you would have to actually go some where else under a different ip address and vote. Sure if people want to go through the trouble of that they can have an insignificant effect on the poll with a miniscule margin of error to account for this. It wouldnt however change the general results.

Proxies do not work, and programs that simulate a proxy do not work. You cant use websites like hidemyip or programs like a vpn to spoof your ip.
