[2.6/3.1] Shaper down on budget 5-link - The Debuffing Pizza (Tri-Curse CI Elementalist Flameblast)

Questions I have coz cba to read 49 sites...

Since You made a shitmess about some special move stuff... Can You explain in few words what is the thing about RF (or VRF it was) and How Do You use it? -.-

Why You trigger COH-2curse with OoS? Can it be any other skill or must be OoS?

Why doedre ring if you use blasphemy-1curse? Isnt it better to throwaway 1 COH curse to dont waste that shiny ring slot, or add 2x blasphemy setup plus enlighten in heretic veil?

Thanks for answer, if You will.

VRF damage is based on your maximum ES /life pool.
Therefore, we pop vaal discipline to increase his ES pool to another 900+ ES (or 900+ damage )
How to use it ? Stay close to your enemy - pop flask - pop Vaal discipline - pop VRF and cross your finger and hope it died before your turn.

You can think it is suicide move if it helps to understand it easier.

OoS procs rate / skill duration / affected area is higher than another. You can link double curse to lighting warps if you want but compare it by yourself. OoS also be used to proc EE so It is BiS.

With doedre ring , you can have 3 curse.You have zero problem to max out resist with this build so that extra ring slot does not mean much or you can use - 8 mana cost of skill ring to clear out your mana problem.
However, most of my time , I'm not bother to use 3rd curse. Flammability and elemental weakness are enough to rekt all mobs. My setup is 2 curses + Discipline + clarity for normal mapping . With harder map mod, I might use 3rd curse ( Temp chain or enfeeble ) and drop out clarity ( please bring your mana flask ). Hectic veil is an option but Im prefer higher ES pool helm + resist than hectic veil.
To OP , This build is stupidly strong and hope GGG not going to drop a hammer on FB and if it is a case then I will roll this again on next league.
and final words

Spoiler
Immune to elemental status is a bane of our existence.

Peace out
GL HF.

This is one precise answer. Thanks a lot!

Glad you like it. :D
So You roll 2 CoH in OoS and 1 blasphemy curse... Hmm, ok, ok, ok. I may try this shiny shiny build in 2.5.0 breach league, peace.
I have a question about the build or rather (possibly) an improvement. On the recommended build - Why would you take the Jewel next to whispers of doom where you only get 8% total ele damage? It seems like it would be better to spend the same amount of points near harrier and get 12% spell damage.

Because the 8% elemental damage double dips while the 12% spell damage doesn't.

What causes it to double dip? I'm still kind of new to the double-dipping type stuff.

Our stuff double dips if stat gives bonus to fire damage and burning damage. For example, these stats gives bonuses to burning damage:

* increased elemental damage
* increased fire damage
* increased damage
* increased burning damage
* increased damage over time

Out of those the first three gives bonus to Flameblast as well. So those three double dip.

Actually now that I checked those from wiki, I'm a bit confused. Since OP said in 1st post that we should be looking those three and also area damage. But area damage doesn't double dip, right?
