[2.6/3.1] Shaper down on budget 5-link - The Debuffing Pizza (Tri-Curse CI Elementalist Flameblast)

Yes, I also do not carry shock immune flask, because it's useless anyway, and 10k ES is a very forgiving setup, but I still think in some heavy lightning damage situations this could be an issue.

I get hit because with 10K ES and 6% regen I just rush through low maps brainless. Mb it's my bad habit with this build.

OP got a little confused by your arguments.

On one hand, you claimed that this build is "susceptible to elemental ailments" because of being CI. It means your char should've lived long enough under the influence of elemental ailments, otherwise you won't feel the duration of ailments is an issue.

On the other hand, you said that the char got oneshot because of Shock, because "shocks are too sudden to react properly", which has nothing to do with the duration of ailments. Despite this, you chose not to carry Shock immu flasks because they are "useless"...

Anyway, it's hard to see how "elemental ailements" can be an issue for CI nowadays when regular flasks are so convenient and effective to deal with them. In addition, in this league decent ES gears are easy to come by therefore it's not that hard to push ES over 12K. If 12K EHP is still easy to get oneshot, how do life/low life builds do?

Besides, under TC and double golem setup, and with the fast kill speed, the char should be tanky enough to face roll low tier maps recklessly as you did.

Can you link your char or items? What level is your char? This build doesn't pick ZO unless your char is pass Lvl 91 and has spare skill points to pick it along with other regen nodes. And 10000 ES is considered low because this is a CI build. 11K or even 12K+ ES is not that hard to achieve especially in this league.

I just trying to tell that shocks can have some positive feedback loop further increasing high incoming damage, and this may occur too quickly to react with flasks. Life builds rarely catch ailments even taking relatively heavy hits.

Here are my gears, I think they are relatively in line with what is needed for their price:

and the tree could be seen in account.

I still haven't finished with taking third curse and a couple of elemental and cast speed nodes because I wanted to grab ZO/regen first. I just felt that recharge alone is not reliable enough for my level of skills. Overall the build is the tankiest thing I played so far and with obscene damage, but sometimes there come unexpected damage bursts and spikes like 2/3 of overall ES, which are hard for me to explain.

Also I remember that I was running recently with arctic armor instead of temporal chains, maybe it was the reason of taking excessive number of hits from mobs.
Hi, I don't know if the following have been asked in the many pages so here it goes:

Can the build handle Hexproof map mod and no leech? Thanks.

P.S. It's nice to know that bosses immune to ignite can still be killed decently.

I just did hexproof map. Remember to swap Temporal Chains to something else so you're not wasting mana reservation. Monster still have -fire resistance from Elemental Equilibrium, so your damage is not completely neutered.

Does the leech matter? I swapped Elemental Weakness to Warlord's Mark, so it does hurt me. But I think OP's build doesn't leech at all? You're supposed to keep up the mana with Saturated Eternal Mana Flask.

I also ran +80% monster fire res, +monster life, +boss life map and it didn't differ much from normal maps. Normally we overkill trash so much that fire resistance doesn't matter on those. Boss fight took couple seconds more than usual, that's all.

Your char profile is set to private so have no idea about the tree.

Gears are decent except that boots/helmet can have an upgrade.

TC is much better in terms of defense for this build.

Burst damage is an intended mechanism in POE. Having a larger EHP pool is the best way to deal with it.

Hexproof is no problem. You can replace TC with AA for defense.

This build doesn't reply on any leech. So no leech mod has no effect on it.

Oh, privacy settings are quite messed up, now characters should be visible.

Also one major change in the build is that i'm trying to go for Discord instead of Beacon in ascendancy, and use proliferation gem instead of increased area. Still haven't found all trials to go for uber lab.

Prolif gem has a damage penalty while Beacon doesn't. It also takes a gem slot which could give you more damage than Discord, and Discord doesn't double dip.
well, finally my internet behaved and i killed shaper today, reserved my VRF till third phase and i blasted his life to 50% to down to 15% or so, when u get the hang of it is kinda viable
hm thinking of getting a +1 curse chayula and respec the whisper of doom to get another jewel slot or ghost reaver i dunno

my final gear for this league, 12,5k ES and 3k avg damage in town (lvl 21/20 pizza)
