[2.5] The FireFly (Burning HoT - insane damage)

Sounds like i could start planning my build around them from the start then. Doesnt sound like it would be too terribly hard to get enough. I was kind of doing my own thing with a kind of burn build that picks up 12 sockets and like 240 ES... does not ha enunwavering stance though. Is that a really terrible idea for a CI build?

Those jewels just seem crazy. 10 of them is 500% dmg and 12 is 720%... that amount of burn dmg is crazy. I also havent played since the league that atziri was first released. I have the transmog for being in the first 20 to kill her. :) but didnt have anywhere near that kind of damage back then....

once you have decent damage and leech with vaal pact, I think you could forgo using unwavering. With enough leech you pretty much remain at full hp.

hey dream do u think this build will be good in 2.5 with the nerf to the grand spectrum gems :3?

Here is my current BSC character using a life version of the build. I focused on max AoE. No grand spectrums were used.



Jewels used:
16% lightning damage
16% fire damage
10% increased damage


HP= 6k at level 84.
400 life regen

You might want to consider using hysteria on a weapon for your build. If you use a lot of triggered spells, its damage output can get pretty insane.
