[outdated] King of the Forest (Crit version)

I'm having some issues with damage so I'm hoping you can tell me what's going on. I've posted my gear below but now that i've switched from lioneye's to opus it actually feels about the same or slower for clear speed and I have no idea why. The only thing I can imagine is that it's because I don't have Toxic delivery yet.
Here's my gear at 75:

Finally getting my hands on Opus I was expecting some revolutionary clear speed and frankly it doesn't feel any better. Is this just because my other items aren't supporting Opus properly..or..? |

basically yeah. lioneye's has higher physical so it does better with lower gear. when you get crit chance, attack speed, accuracy and flat chaos, opus should blow it out of the water

anyone using TS with this build for single target and aoe? to save links? or is LA / barrage that much better?

How do you pick up the mana and life leech node on the bottom without traveling through the other leech nodes?
I am looking at the tree and it skips the 2 life leech nodes prior to the life and mana one. Any help is appreciated. P.S: Same for the 5% life node by "Thick Skin" |

" Yeah i think that's just a mistake, you have to go through the life leech. I actually didn't spot the mana leech one for ages because of that and couldn't work out how the mana level supposed to be maintained...that one node makes world of difference |

Love this build, did this last league as well, things go fast and smooth.
But i was thinking of changing some things and would love some advice in comparison. Since the cherrubs buff im trying that armor out instead. Also thinking of exchanging the crit chance gem for poison gem. Crit rate gets lowered, from about 64% to about 44-46% crit rate with full power charges (dont have deadly infusion yet). I did notice a lot less critting ofc. So for example getting a rats nest instead of devotos, will that help the crit? (Yeah less movement speed... :(...) So ill be losing quite some movement speed, but damage wise, anyone know if thatll work out and do a significant change? |

" I have been using it in earlier leagues on my assasin and raider version of this build, and in this league with raider. Although I dont really do it to save links, but simply because it's aoe with helm enchant is much better than LA and single target is pretty much as good as barrage. I honestly don't understand why everyone blindly follows cmphx and goes for LA+barrage |
