R.I.P. [2.6] Explosive Arrow - Elementalist Build Guide (multi class + version, in depth theory)
" Copy this link and import it in Path of building. If you don't have Path of Building get it here. Please note that The build will be expensive and it is untested. I have no experience with it. A buddy of mine made it so the support I can give is a bit limited. If anyone decides to try it out I'd appreciate some feedback. Greengroove's Loot Filter Scripts: poeurl.com/OMs

" Thanks for the answer. With PathOfBuilder i could see my ignite damage went from 11k to 21k in tonights session. that really helps a lot to see character progression. But now i hit a point where iam not sure what improvements are best for my character now. would be awesome if you could have a short look at my Character "XeratiArrow" and maybe give me some hints on where to improve the best now. profil link: https://www.pathofexile.com/account/view-profile/xeratas/characters Thanks a lot for the guide and for the help
" You can go for Grand spectrum. get 2x essence crafted Opal rings. If you are soft core get the Doriany's invitation. If resists are a problem drop rearguard, get a rare quiver with life and resists. Then corrupt it for +1 arrow. If you go for grand spectrum get some rare gloves instead of winds. Get a second Quill rain and quiver for single target. Get 2x 6 link quill rains with best colors. Get good enchant for Devoto. DROP life leech! Greengroove's Loot Filter Scripts: poeurl.com/OMs

Thanks for the build, been having a lot of fun!
Now I "just" need to 6-link two quill rains! ;D
hi! nice build you got here.
im thinking of making a EA build myself atm. you mentioned that a +3 to skill gem is better for bossing. do you think a legacy silverbough(+3) would be better for bossing? cus atm i have a 6L quill rain and debating if i should 6L another one or go for a silverbough for bossing Last edited by Xyreal on Mar 14, 2017, 2:52:39 AM

" I ended up buying 2x 6 links because I was not able to link them on my own. I 5 linked quite a few of them. Hope you have more luck than I did. " Honestly I think Quill is better for bosses just because of the high attack speed. The other bow is much slower and I found out that quick evasions are harder on slower bows. I ended up dying more. The damage is better on +3 bows tho. So I'd recommend just staying with the quill rain. But if you want the +3 option you want to have +2 to fire gems and NOT +2 to bow gems. You should essence craft a 1.5 aps bow. If you have +2 to bow gems, only the EA gem will benefit. If you have +2 to fire gems up to 3 gems can benefit. Can this build complete Hall of Grandmasters?
|
|
" Please search for "Leveling the Elementalist" spoiler. It's all there. " In 2.5 This build was able to do the halls quite easily. I know there are some new masters in there now, so I can't say for sure but I'm fairly sure it can do most if not all. Hi all -
Was hoping for some validation on my "next steps". Currently shaping my atlas, cleared corrupted t12 for orb very easily. I'm having a hard time figuring out managing resists if I use winds of change/doryanis, but as I read above, maybe just use a rare quiver? I found my survivability went WAY up with rearguard though so I'm not so keen on getting rid of it. https://www.pathofexile.com/account/view-profile/dperls/characters - MyArrowsGoBoom 1. Second 5L quill rain for bosses (maybe?) 2. 6L quill rain 3. opal rings 3.5 upgrade to doryani/winds and figure out resists 4. rearguard corruption if still using 5. devoto's enchant Thoughts on that order? As for the 6L, I'm prob just going to save up the 5ex, but really was thinking about trying chance/scour from porcupine, but just seems like a trap. Last edited by dperls on Mar 15, 2017, 10:45:29 AM
