[Not a Bug] Cospri's Malice Failing to Leech

I love how all the people trying to disprove the issue keep picking the weakest examples they can find.

This new weapon is amazing and discharge coc is "alive" again. The only problem i have is that i can't kill any freaking boss or essence monster. I literally leech nothing at all.
How am i able to play as CI melee without properly leech? It's bugged as hell. Just delete this weapon or fix it because it's unplayable now. Just threw 12ex for build that use bugged weapon. So disappointed.

I've made build workable with dual curse and secondary way for charge generation, with 4% leech and more consistent charges from coc BV I'm having no issue leeching, did deathless Chimera last night. feel free to check my profile for more info, character's name is "SoberandIrrelevant"

Btw the whole design of the game (fight part) is now recognized by most of players i know as a failure: i had to leave/dismantle my cospri assassin level 91.5 in Essence for something working aka pathfinder blade broken vortex.


Thanks i lost like 1 week trying to get decent output of cospri, before finally give up facing the end game content, based on broken over leech mechanics, like usual the "nerf" was too massive and completely destroyed the meaning of the skill (COC & Proc items)

IMO after extensive testing the leech isn't bugged, It just requires substantially more investment than before to make it as effective in the end-game ( mostly due to the -35% LESS damage multiplier from discharge being triggered on top of reduced proc rate). I'm 4/4 on Guardians and going to be attempting Shaper soon, I had to add in CoC/Blade Vortex into my cyclone setup to maximize power charge generation and also had to add a second curse, running with Warlord's Mark and Assassin's Mark. my single target leech is very viable as seen in this clip vs Minotaur https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-GrLRjPZ3VA Feel free to draw your own conclusions. but it's still very viable I feel, just requires much more investment.

take ages? guardians are tanky as hell. and no this is Essence League. Voll's Devotion is cheap as hell currently.

@mill3nia, first of all, what investment r u talking about? BV to generate charges? That is not an investment, it's abuse, cheat whatever you can call it. What would u do if there wouldn't be broken BV that can generate charges quickly? What if you would like to use other than discharge spells? You would immediately quit the game and please don't tell me go self-cast. So that weapon was specifically designed with the BV being in the game in mind? It should be then called Cospri's Malice Blade Them All with Vortex.

Making those so called 'investments' doesn't make sense at all, you can play other 'immortal' builds like BV at its core.

Whoever is telling that 'leech' is broken doesn't mean literally that there is some wrong calculation in the code where leech algorithm is implemented. What they mean is that it does not work as they would expect to be able to face end game content. There might be different reasons why it's happening, like changes to CoC mechanism etc.

Seemed to be good yesterday for me and working like it should for the most part, but then, today i joined a party and ran excavation and could not leech from the bosses. especially the rf boss. Berserker here using discharge/ lacerate ee and again.. worked great yesterday.. bosses no problem.. Today, rf drain while discharging with absolutely no leech.

Guys don`t flame about Bug for Leech because there's not.
Leech is just insufficient with Cospri's Malice.
I`m Using the build in Essence League.
My Maximum Charged DPS (18k Per Blast Currently - 6Power+5Endurance)
This is Without the Calculation of -35% of the Damage. and i don`t always have max charges per blast as before, because I'm even using blade Vortex CoC Variant But the instant Cast on Crit with Cospri's Malice and the insufficient Crits due to low amount of Blades (10 Max Can be Stacked). Damage is Considred too low enough to Leech Back Your Full Health as Used before.
In Prophecy League i had 55k DPS per Blast for Maximum Charges So the difference is really huge.

However the build is still viable even for shaper i guess. I'm doing Atziri Fine and Soon Gonna Try Uber and Shaper, But Warlord's Mark and life Leech Gem together is a must now.
Also there's a chance to Boost My DPS For 35k Fully Charged Blast After Calculations (because Using Only Level 19 Discharge now - Some Jewels For Damage is Left - 2 Additional Charges are Left).

My Feeling is that Assassin's Mark is Almost Essential now aswell To Improve Generation of Maximum Charges on Single Target.
