Yes, there was no real way to avoid being surrounded, but there sure as hell was a way to avoid dying. People open up strongboxes without dying all the time, there's nothing special about it.

And yes, you would have probably died in the final fight with Izaro. Why? Cause you're (still) not good at the game. You will learn in time provided you'll choose to learn from your mistakes instead of raging.

Attempted uber Lab for first time yesterday as a returning player with my main char. Died on 2nd IZarro fight from a one shot. Fair enough, didn't know the fight mechanics.

Problem is, I couldn't bring myself to start the Lab all over again so its not for me.

If GGG want to keep the Lab as it, that's cool with me, but gating the additional APs behind it I don't think is a good idea.

I'm enjoying AoW so please no boring, repetitive 'so go play something else' comments...the above is just my 2c worth.
I still can't understand how there can be so many threads and post about a game feature that lasts what, 3*15 mins? in the life of your characters. Even if you hate it so much, it's a ridiculously small part of the game.

Cause it's 3*15 mins of boredom * the amount of characters that you have or plan to make.
Plus the 15 minutes per labyrinth is a silly falsehood. When people avoid labyrinth and only play it for the points, it takes longer than 15 minutes. For example, the standard normal ladder median time is around 40 minutes. So 40 minutes is much closer to reality than the fantasy 15 minutes.

40 minutes is what it takes undergeared, underleveled, or underknowledged people to do it. 20 minutes is a slow run for people who know are prepared.

Last league I played was tempest so this is my first time doing labyrinths, I like it, I did the uber lab today and it was pretty tough but once I figured out I needed to do things to make him weaker in the 3rd fight it was doable, I failed 3 times it only takes 10 minutes to get back to the 3rd encounter once you know the layout of the day.
