Be careful with the timing. I don't know if this happens anymore but i used to do your trick until the mobs somehow teleported(more likely spawned) near me instead of the box.

agree, lab is really not good. its a walksimulator with no content.
I play it only to get my points and then I am happy to see it not that much again.

Reasons why lab sucks for me:

- walk walk and walk, big maps with no content.
- no real content in this maps like quests, real lore (not that lol text-tables)
- GGG seems so uninspired they repeat the boss fight 3 times. again no content
- players are FORCED to play hardcore
- lab can be very long for new players and theres no break (afk in lab is possible)
- lab is too hard for new players. they play it and get a "fck u u wont get your points"
- layout is too drab, changes made every day are boring


I dont know any numbers but I guess there are alot players with not THAT great build or
currency GGG should not risk to lose this players lol, that would be very stupid.

Problem is those ascendancy points are so powerful its a big constraint for all to get this

You can outlevel normal and cruel lab. If you can manage merciless act 3 (you need some form of a working build for that anyways), you can grind and outlevel merciless lab.

The uber lab is by no means needed, except for those who want to beat the highest content. And for that you need a bit more experience then 'a new player'.

Personally, I find the content refreshing and well balanced. Dont really seee the big deal..

If you overlevel it, just bring in a bunch of health potions. Maybe roll them into instant heals. That way you can spam a potion or 2 if you get caught in a trap. (Assuming your a life build). Like people said OP, yes, you can out level it and cheese it later. Don't let your dislike of the lab put you off the game - it's only a small portion of it that only needs to be done once in a while.

Also, don't bother arguing with people about it. Most of them are not trolls, they are just tired of seeing lab threads. I hate lab too but even I am a bit weary of the spam.
