So yeah, it only aims both aoe and projectiles at monsters when they are close to the character. Was hoping to stick a 4l firestorm on explosive arrow berserker for some nice synergy, but since im ranged, most of the time it's cast on character. Honestly it feels like a bug since the most obvious use for this helm would be to stick it on a selfcaster and then the design doesn't make any sence. Wouldn't this helm be better for defensive purposes, or aoe skills? maybe golem summon, curses or even decoy totem? From what i gathered the aoe skills casted are targeted on the player. I was thinking about a cyclone build, that would work like coc, but would not be a coc. so cyclone to proc -> votex/ice nova/shock nova/blade vortex in helm. maybe 2-3 spells listed here + 1 support to boost it. This way it would make it consistent damage output. I havent had a chance to test it as I do not own the helm. If anyone tested it would love to know how it gone. Also: I saw a guy casting bladefall and dual curses from the helm, while using EK with dual apep rage - looked amazing. I mentioned it will probably target like this back when it was revealed. It is clearly best used on close range casters and melee characters for extra synergy. It also cannot cast more than one of the same unique spell.
