Path of Building: Offline Build Planner [v1.4.71]

Hi, I apologize if this isn't entirely relevant but this is a cross-post from reddit as it got buried there and no one wanted the help.

I will preface this by saying I'm genuinely sure this isn't just this program but I have absolutely no idea what could be causing me this issue.

Path of Building has an issue where upon opening the program, both the install and the standalone, the window no longer updates what it shows. I can still interact with the program, but the UI itself will not update unless I minimize the window and then restore it again.

A bit of backstory, I noticed this problem first with a visual novel a friend of mine is working on. It did the same thing as path of building had prior, telling me it was a problem with my computer. I'd discovered this with both programs which prompted me to go and update a swathe of drivers, including my graphics drivers. This did not fix the issue and I don't know what the problem is.

Specs:
Lenovo Y50 Laptop
Win8.1 64bit
Intel Core 1&-4710HQ CPU 2.50GHz
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 860M
8GB RAM

Any help here would be appreciated. I only ask here because you know how your program is built and would be the most knowledgeable about why this may be happening.
Is there a way to select socket colors for each item? Trying to use prismatic eclipse but with 3 green sockets (for the 36% global attack speed), and I can't seem to find a way to do that other than just editing the item to give the 36% attack speed.
Suggestion:
What about "priority markers". So build developers can visualize the prefered priority of skills to go for / route you take while leveling up.
Simple numbers 1 to 10 that are applied by mouse hovering over the node and pressing the number, for example.

Hello, in 3.0 version of the builder essence drain's dot is not scaled by projectile damage. Is this intentional or a bug? I don't see any info regarding this in patch notes.

hello Sir, thank you for the awesome job! I'm really enjoying Path of Building
Could you please update the new damage on full life gem?
I need the patch data before I can do that; I'm download it now.

I want to plan an ignite build for 3.0, but projectile damage nodes seems to be affecting the ignite damage. Is the new aliment system not updated yet?
I can't reproduce this; are you sure the build version is set to 3.0?

Would it be possible to introduce a variance box in the detailed DPS calculation section? You already present the information about the spread of damage in the damage box. However, people tend to focus on the end dmg per hit or DPS numbers, and it'd be great to quickly differentiate between a build that has 100 avg dmg but a range of 1-201 and a 100 avg dmg build that has a range of 98-102 - and that's easier to see if I can see variance in conjunction with avg dmg / dps. Admittedly, this is something most people might not appreciate, so it's low priority.
Yeah, not really sold on that myself. The difference isn't that big for most builds anyway.

When adding support gems to a skill and having it sort by dps, if it could sort them by dps obtained from highest level gem that your character can use at their current level.
That has been requested before; it isn't trivial to do though, so it will need to wait until after I'm done with the 3.0 updates.

Hey! Thanks as always!

I updated the PoB but could not add not rare/unique flasks, I'm doing something wrong?
Magic flasks can be created by clicking "Craft item..." in the Items tab; the rarity defaults to Rare but it will still make a Magic flask even if you don't change it.

I think dark pact cast on skeletons is not calculated properly. I have the same health for my witch as I do for skeletons yet the self cast dps is over 4x the damage. I'm wondering if it could be the chain isn't calculating or maybe the chain is also applying to self cast which from what I could tell in the skill preview should not happen.
The program can't detect the life of your skeletons, so you need to input it in the Configuration tab, under Skill Options.

It seems the current version the change to melee damage on full life, to damage on full life, isn't being taken into account yet, as it doesn't work for ele or ranged builds atm.
I need the patch data before I can update that gem; I'm downloading it now.

That is quite unusual. I think I've only had one other report of this issue, and that was a long time ago. I have absolutely no idea how to solve it, unfortunately; all I could have suggested is updating drivers, but you've already done that.

I haven't yet added support for viewing/editing sockets on items, so modifiers that interact with socket colours can't work.

Oh, there's a few QoL changes I'd like to make to the passive tree, but I don't have time to work on it yet (nor am I likely to for a while).

That is indeed intentional. One of the changes made in 3.0 is that Damage over Time isn't classified as Projectile Damage, unless specifically permitted (as is the case for Caustic Arrow).
when will be strom busrt updated?;(( cause its hard to plan build now, with wrong numbers..
I was playing around with Oro's sacrifice and noticed that putting the new Damage on full life (still named melee damage on full life) didn't increase the damage, considering that it now boosts non-physical (and ranged) in 3.0. And yes, I did have "Are you always on Full Life" checked.

Both of these will be updated once I get the patch data; I'm downloading it now, and it should be done in about 2 hours.

Ah, I thought this applies only to ailments. Kinda sad, but oh well, thank you for the answer.
It's a shame they didn't include this info in patch notes.
