I leave Controlled Destruction the last, because I try to always keep Crit Chance over 70% for perma-freeze. I use Added Cold Damage instead until I have enough Crit from tree/gear to link CD.

Is the lvl 90 tree a decent route for leveling or would a 20-30 point repsec work better?

I have 75% crit w/ controlled destruction and 6 power charges running. I'm only 67, but I can semi-freeze Voll. All of my gems give crit/freeze duration stats and life. So far is plays really well even with only 2 ascendency points. However, I'm not sure I'll hit 200k dps at this rate, tooltip only says 10k. Doing a life variant bc ES gear is too expensive. " Going hybrid life/ES with this build works great up to Tier 12/13, then, you start having random deaths against mobs/bosses. I suggest you initially pick some life nodes and focus on crit/freeze duration (jewel nodes) for perma-freeze. You can map with this setup comfortably and when you have some currency then respec to CI/Ghost Reaver. Regrettably, I started this build on league with an hybrid life/ES version, then when reach T13 I changed the build completely to the actual CI version. |

" You changed a lot the build, most part of the tree is completely different. About your damage, just consider not using PCoC and ALD on your FP setup. PC generation could rely on Assassin's Mark CoH setup with HoI and for boss fights, Diamond Flask do the job. |

This is a fantastic build, thank you.
I do not yet understand enough about critical strikes to know how high my +critical strike chances need to be to freeze all the time (taking into account what you wrote about damage and + freeze duration), since I do not yet have great currency to spend. Until I do, I was wondering if I could try this with an Assassin? I have a Shadow that is fairly along this route -- how close could one come to your build? " The most important difference is Inevitable Judgement. This build is 100% cold damage and enemies resistances is a truly important matter when dealing with high life bosses and freeze threshold. Thanks to that ascendancy point, and because you always crit, enemies have zero resistances, so your damage is not affected by enemies resistances and you're able to perma-freeze. So, imo, since my intention was to achieve T15 perma-freeze, I guess you will need Inquisitor class for doing so. |

Only 7.4k ES atm-my armour is not great, (still have a few more passives to go too),The Helm/Shield and Dagger were self crafted, not the best, but do the job, i have 80+ Crit, So it is going pretty good :D What im using:
