You might want to leave the life-based version of the build up. IMO, life-based is actually easier up to a certain point, because you can dual-wield daggers for easier damage and crit, and you don't have to invest so much into gear. People who aren't aiming at T14/T15 might still be interested in the old build.

I don't take the route to Consecrated Ground, but I tried it. I tried a lot of things to finally reach this version of the build. On time, I will answer all pending questions indicating why I decided to go this way and not another. But I will need some extra time.

Yeah, the consecrated ground path is, I'm pretty sure, worse than the VP path (with the extra damage nodes). I saw a LL Freeze Pulse build face-tanking shaper lazer with VP, and that is impossible with the ZO setup. VP is just too good not to use. I've been running the ZO path with no problems, and it does have its benefits - it makes mana sustain very easy, and it is safer against random trash I think, but: for the highest content, VP is almost mandatory.

Yes, I will when I got the time, but truth is that I'm not so interested on them. All Guardians are freeze immune so there's not much fun to me there. This build was based on freeze mechanics and make them work, but no matter what you do, they won't freeze.

Fights against Guardians will be based on Slower Projectiles + Elemental Focus and Blasphemy + Warlord's Mark.

Yes, you're right about that. But I decided not to keep both versions because I already got that experience from another build I made, with three versions updated at the same time and means a lot of time to keep everything working together plus answering all Q&A from all versions at the same time.

Do you think it got better with CI? I'm currently level 88 doing great with my life based build. I got 5200 hp 1500 ES and around 2k mana. I'm using your old setup with some changes.

I'm using CWDT + Warlord's Mark + Immortal Call so when bosses hit me i leech life and mana from them. Also Orb of Storms + PCoC + Faster Cast + Inc. Crit Change to generate Power charges at bosses. I rely a lot on PC now, I have a max of 5 and +4% spell damage per power charge. And i still use added cold damage instead of slower projectiles, I try to keep myself far away from bosses to dodge.

With Vaal Haste + Sulphur Flask + Atziri Flask i get around 270k DPS. Empower is a must on the 6L, you should replace that on top of Increase Crit damage! An Empower lvl 3 corrupted is around 30c at most.

The highest i did was T13 maps but i think i can handle higher maps without ele reflect without problems. The only big problem I had was in Orchard map double boss with lots of weird mods, I died once and didn't even go in again, Orchard boss are not that easy with this build, so 2 of them wasn't worth the risk lol.

All in all, this build is cheap and great to start a league. I like it alot, huge dps and really safe with the perma freeze.

With hybrid Life/ES pool I run up to T13 maps without any problem. I perma-freeze bosses and survivability was OK. But when I start running T14 maps, I face two problems: freeze not permanent on bosses and not reliable, and random deaths from mobs.

Random deaths from mobs while clearing map force me to play extra safe and I start feeling uncomfortable with it. And truth is, that still, I got some random death from time to time due to stuns and/or huge one-hit blows.

Because of this, I decided to go all the way CI + Vaal Pact. Using HoI dual curse setup with Warlord's Mark, you can even whirl into packs without any issue and simply I don't die again ever clearing maps. So, I'm not saying you should go CI, but I didn't like enough the survivability I offered on previous version of the build for T14/T15 maps, so I decided to go this way.

Another important issue are Stuns. Going CI with Valyrium Ring and 9.5K ES pool is enough to not suffer from stun hits, but I don't know how hybrid pool could avoid being stunned on T14/T15 (I tried Practical Application and was really disappointing).

About the second problem, not being able to perma-freeze T14 bosses, problem was that I was focusing on scaling damage, when that's not the main issue about freeze. Important thing and really easy to scale as a multiplier is Freeze Duration, and for that, jewels are incredibly cheap and can give you a huge boost over Freeze Threshold considerations. If you don't go CI and works for you, sounds great to me, but Freeze Duration is a must if you want to perma-freeze T15 bosses.

About Empower, I just tried a L3. Still I got better final DPS from Increased Critical Damage. Results from tooltip with not any buff:

FP (20/21) + SE (20/20) + CD (20/20) + LMP (16/20) + ICS (20/20) + ICD (20/20) = 96.534 DPS

FP (20/21) + SE (20/20) + CD (20/20) + LMP (16/20) + ICS (20/20) + Empower (0/3) = 89.552 DPS

Hey mate...i made all that your guide tells me to do ...and is all ok till i hit 1 ele reflect mob...and i 1 shot me :(( and i have that flask sappihre. Eny ideea how to improve that?
Worts build ever..im so mad...evryting is ok i love the build i have huge dps i freez evrything so far...and when i hit 1 ele reflect mob im death..and i use 2 flask now..:(

How much ES you have? If you're with the hybrid life/ES old version, how much life/ES? Do you have cold resistance capped for merciless difficulty? There was any map mod that could affect that elemental reflect? (-x% max resistances, ele weakness, etc).

Link three and gear if you want that I take a look.

Curious on what the order of importance is for linking freezing pulse. Just leveling right now with LMP, Increased Crit Damage, and Controlled destruction.
