Problem is, rewards are not low, they are close to nothing. Not worth playing races.
I don't have many posts but have been playing since closed beta.

Love the game.
Love the season idea.
Love the rewards.
Love the Point system.

Hate the race times . . .

I know you can't have races on my own personal schedule. I know the times are still a work in progress. I know many others will have the same issue and post here.

But i do feel the only way to give my opinion and thoughts on it are to post here.

That being said, I'm in the central time zone (GMT -6). The only race start times that fall outside of normal working hours (8-5 pretty standard) are the 11:00 Pm races which there are 7 of. . .

Of those 7, 3 are 1 hour races meaning the race would get over at midnight leaving me 6 hours before i have to get up and get kids ready for school and hit the door. Sure maybe ill do a 2 hour race and push it and just be tired one day. Of the announced races with times that gives me 3. 3 races I can participate in plus the one week which is something i guess.

If i at least get the min points each race that gives me 9 points and since the week long race point values aren't announced yet i don't know about that one, but if the lower bracket isn't worth more than 6 points it would be impossible for me to acquire even the lowest tiered prize . . .

so why participate at all?

(yeah yeah lifetime points i know and ill still participate but how else to i voice my opinion?)

Hob
I'm going to play 11 races in the first 7 days, therefore it is worth it to me.

People say you miss out on the currency you would get by playing your MAIN. I agree you won't be getting chisels and Maps, but I seem to get better currency drops of the other currencies with characters who are lower levels.

Also, where are all the epeens being able to say "I won a race" or "I was # 1 (insert class here). Normally that seems to be what people care about. Now all of a sudden it's the prizes suck.

If you don't like what is being offered, go to the suggestion forum and offer up a suggestion for Season Two. That would be much more constructive than just bitching and whining.

Given your *ahem* freedom to play, is it any surprise you're in favor of this system?
Not sure if this has been asked yet or not (don't have time to search through 30+ pages...), does the Coral ring, when upgraded with an alchemy increase the level required to wear it, or does it stay at no level requirement?

If it does increase the level, I personally have no need for it, since I prefer to make many different builds than just get one or two to the highest level I can, and if it doesn't, then having a ring with no requirement with iLvl 77 mods seems a bit overpowered.

Generally if you roll a high item level item with a high ilvl mod, it will increase the level requirement of the item, yes, for balance purposes (being able to have high ilvl mods in lvl28 PvP would be extremely broken, for one).

I think it will increase the level requirement, or it would be really crazy OP. GGG wouldn't do that.
