ZiggyD's Community Unique Design - Names and Flavour Text

Is the belt property that it will get 1% increased attack damage per 400 armour PLUS 1% attack damage per 400 evasion, or does one need 400 armour AND evasion to get 1% increased attack damage ?

Some clarification would be nice in the original post.

Just found it in the previous post :

1% increased attack damage per 300 of your lowest value between armour and evasion

That seems a bit underwhelming now that it is 400 instead of 300.
But there is a free fortify+onslaught effect so, oh well.
It's nice to see armour + eva being encouraged though.
SSF is not and will never be a standard for balance, it is not for people entitled to getting more without trading.

Vanguard Belt (A new belt base type)

1% increased attack damage per 400 Armour and Evasion
15% chance to gain Fortify on Melee Stun
You have Onslaught while you have Fortify

Name: Daresso's Duty

Flavor text:
"
With a turn of the thumb the mob bids him slay,
The die is cast, their call he has to obey.

The name and flavor text reference Daresso's past as a young gladiator who still has to prove himself. He fought in the arenas for the amusement of others. The flavor text refers to the tradition of the crowd giving a verdict on a defeated gladiator with a thumb signal which the victor is obligated to execute. This is also an allusion to the community creating this item.

The flavor text consists of monosyllables that represent the strikes of a deadly duel. Only at the end there is a disyllabic word in 'obey' which represents a sudden combination of strikes and the defeating move.

The set of unique items called "Daresso's ..." is still missing a belt and therefore the name seems fitting as well.

"The Dancer and the Brute" or maybe "Dancing Chain"

Flavor:

"Once an unmatched couple to adore,
then divided by wages of war.
Now they'r remains reunited again,
to form an unbreakable ongoing chain."

The design i have in mind would be some colourfull ribbons paired with some massive chainlinks or armor plates to represent evasion and armor aswell.
Unbreakable and ongoing in the flavor to hint to the effects of fortify/onslaught and gaining momentum in a fight.

apologies in advance for any misspelling

"Daresso's Duality" - "In the arenas of Oriath there were two types of people, those who played the games, and those who won them...I reinvented them"

"Piety's Perfection" - "Piety smiled as her abomination rose from the table...they will try to get away but his chains will bind them, they will try to withstand him but his fury will break them."

"Kaom's Trophy Belt" - "Kaom slaughtered many on the fields; those who tried to evade him fell to a single blow...those who tried to face him crumpled before his wrath.

Is offence or defence the source of strength?
What if into each a device fed the other--
For every increment of armour,
a girded Champion hit harder--
Greater force cushioned blows--
Lessened pain quickened strokes,
sharpened steel, stiffened shield--
Where then would power end?"

The imagery on this is so perfect. i love it
"Izaro's Wisdom"

"The fool held his weapon thightly to feel defended.
The wise girded himself thightly to become a weapon himself." -Izaro Phrecius

This item just goes against the adage "The best defense is a good offense". I think Izaro would be the only one wise enough to argue that the offense comes from the defense, not the other way around.
