Wraeclast is the kind of place I can easily imagine some nameless, faceless hero with no legend making this incredible stand against the forces of corruption, wickedness, and Chaos - only to falter and fall in the end, no matter how powerful he was, because the 'Tides of Chaos' are truly endless. Everything he (or she) fought to protect ends up devoured and destroyed; the place he fought to build crumbles into dust, and there's not so much as a gravestone to mark where he fell. A champion lived, fought, failed, and died, and no one knows or cares. It's a powerful sort of image, and fits neatly into this bleak and hopeless world GGG has exiled us all to.
