Siegebreaker, Vanguard Belt

As the battering ram hit its mark,
an unbreakable gate,
Splinters of wood and bark,
the straps held fast its fate.

I need help with this lol. Belt makes you tough but at the same time offensive the tougher you get. I thought of a battering ram but that's more like a weapon so maybe this was part of one.
Daresso's Impetus.

A single advantageous moment is all the time you need to decide you've won.

(In the sense that the wearer is emboldened by stunning his opponent and gaining the upper hand.)

You sir are correct and I made a mistake.

Soul Auxium (Siege Belt)

And lo, Nick said unto his disciples:
"It May Be Crazy Broken"
And his disciples replied
"Meh"
And made it anyway.

In my imagination, the theme of turning defense into damage of this belt reminds me of the Advancing Fortress, which carries a quote by Deshret.
The in-game lore can also do with expanding a little more on the Maraketh, who have only been introduced in Act 3/4.

So, I'd give this belt something along what is publicly known of the Maraketh: their ambush of Hector Titicus's legions in the Vastiri plains in the Purity Rebellion. If this description ends up on the belt, I would love for the character to gain a mild dust storm effect upon Fortify (rather than the star-fort image).

For when the image cannot be seen

Vastiri Tempest
Vanguard Belt
= = = = =
Thus sheltered and cloaked, the Akhara lay
waste on Hector's plains
Thus scattered and whelmed, the Legion lay
slain by dust and blade

In terms of why using a dust storm image on Fortify+Onslaught, I'm actually thinking Raider ascendancy people might consider ignoring acrobatics and using this to gain Phasing+Onslaught+Fortify at the same time (i.e., whirling blades using an Advancing Fortress).

I really like this one the best. The flavor text is short, simple, poetic, and above all, gives a good vibe about the item. The name could change, perhaps. Something like Elite's Equity. I like the sounds of alliterated names.

I agree the flavour text is written well and simple (and that the name could be changed), but I believe such flavour text to be more fitting for a weapon only because the flavor text fails to describe the defensive aspect of the belt as well. Otherwise, that flavour text would be perfect.
When game developers ignore the criticism that would improve their game, the game fails.
Just because a game receives a great amount of praise vs. only a small amount of criticism
does not mean to call it a day and make a foolish misplaced assumption that it is perfect.

I feel like the similarities between Duelist and Daresso are too glaring to avoid :P

The name of the item would be called "Bonds Of Battle" and the text would be as follows:

"The last to fall down,
The Unstoppable Hero,
A fabled battle

Fatigued as he was,
Their Exhaustion was severe,
He Struck with a flurry"

- A tale of one of Daresso's many victories

Name:

Pertinacious or Adus' Tenacity

Flavor Text:

"Emphasizing the phalanx, Commander Adus taught his legion that the best offense is a good defense. This belt was issued to his lieutenants."

There's not enough information on Adus. I think this is an opportunity to expand on this obscure commander of Voll's army.
