Medallion Race Season Details
Cutthroat races and a 48 hour flashback :O this race season looks awesome, cant wait!
People who cant participate in all the races should just focus on trying to win a Demigod they're more valuable than probably any of the alt arts this season. If you cant win demis then try to get in the top 20 in whatever races you can participate in. If you cant get in the top 20 in any of the races chances are you wernt getting to 1k points even if you had the time. IGN:Dethklok

I have regular 8 hours a day, 40 hours a week job. It is reasonably exhausting physical labor that sometimes without exaggeration makes it hard for me to even grip my mouse. But do I just hear out my body's calls and go sleep? Not if there is racing to be done. Is it passion? Is it obsession? For you to decide, I can just honestly say I enjoy racing so it's worth it for me.
Looking at the schedule I can attend 100 out of 125 of scheduled races(typically I miss out on 2 races per working day and this season schedule is actually even better than previous ones, some days there is only 1 race during my 8-10 hours working window). Anyone here that moans and complains just isn't dedicated enough in my book. If you can't, for example, wake up in the middle of the night to do one race and then go continue sleeping you just aren't trying hard enough and therefore is in no position to demand anything. Thanks for the racing season, GGG. ProjectPT was right. Last edited by passofexhale#1727 on Jul 11, 2016, 10:46:14 AM

In this thread:
People with no jobs, laying around eating froot loops all day playing video games and paying the ISP bill with their welfare check calling those with jobs, mouths to feed and responsibility the lazy ones for not making time to enter races. Only in Wraeclast. |

" Don't forget all the people who themselves chose to have a million responsibilities whining about having no time to play and blaming the schedule. Last edited by g0aky#4925 on Jul 11, 2016, 10:45:10 AM

Well i missed Prophecy League entirely.. and i was lacking a motivation to play with my Standard characters.. Now i am really motivated! :)
Thank You GGG for your endless game improvements, and entertainment comparable with my beloved Diablo II (of course it is not the same). Cheers! Last edited by raymogi#1274 on Jul 11, 2016, 11:30:44 AM

it's kind of interesting how people with a job, wife, and child who complain about the race season scheduling and fairness, still dont really understand the nuances of life's facets.

Is there a place where the individual events are described? I haven't played since beta and I'm not really sure what some of the rules are. I looked under the events tab and only found the calendar and the overview.

" This is a great, succinct way to put it. I've seen a lot of criticisms levied at the race system since S1, and they fall into those 3 categories. Criticism is fine at a base level, things like 'race X is fun, more of those please!' or '2 months is too long for a race season - a lot of people lose interest part way through' There's a line between that and overly critical, and still another line between overly critical and asking GGG to make race seasons into something that no longer resembles a race or has a season. |
