Prophecy Challenge Statistics
How many 40s lads?

" About 110 hours played. Not that long. In my case, two weeks at eight hours played per day (took time off at the beginning of the league). Soooooo. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ If you mean full blown SSF, yeah, it's more difficult, but the presumption here is that you're going to be at least be running a shop (not necessarily "playing the market"). Other commentary:
Spoiler
I farmed up to T15s on my own just fine (Zana mods on the device help), eight mod's not even close to being a pain (takes some vaal orbs, woo), Uber lab was done about 30/40 finding my own trials as I sped through low level maps for the map drops from bosses, bought 10 more offerings to close that off, built and ran ~40 of my own sets through corrupting twinned Museum/Arena maps, used the profit off those sets to get the last 60, Unique box you can pretty much force through the Monstrous Treasure prophecy, which is fairly common, etc, so forth. Unique box likelihood was buffed this league. Significantly. I found three Unique boxes over the course of those two weeks, two of them in Monstrous Treasure runs.
Like I said, it's more than doable solo. As long as you don't mean SSF. It's about knowing the game. Examples: Monstrous Treasure accomplishes at least two at once: you get the Unique box and, since the Warband boxes are the most common of the unique boxes (from what I've heard), that's a two-fer. Map bosses? 100 Atziri sets got me halfway there. Each boss in the Atziri run (ALL of them, double vaal, tri-boss, Atziri) counts towards that challenge. Need some div cards? Run maps that drop the div cards you want. Kill the boss. You get a) a crack at saving currency on dropping the div card and b) a map drop from the boss. Etc. Play smart. Save time. If you want to really cut down on the time though, you can't be unwilling to trade. Of course that's going to suck at your soul. When I wanted to go for 8-mod, I just bought 50 vaal orbs flat out, 'cuz my shop made me reasonably wealthy, vaal'd a bunch of maps, ran the maps. By the time I'd finished 38/40 pushing the other challenges in some measure of how I described above, I had maps from bosses and Encounters IV, all I had left was about 100 maps to go and 30 or so shrines. I only got to 10 last League and the number I've done this league I have gotten through general play. I have about 5 or 6 that just need one more step to complete. For instance, I need 1 more 60+ rare ring to create a Chaos Orb and that's one more challenge down. I'm just about to get into act 4 Merciless so I can then clear the Dried Lake for another. Then when I kill Malachai, that's a 3rd. So there's a bunch I'm close to closing.
I just created an MF character though to get some currency flowing to adjust a few bits of gear. "I reject your reality and substitute my own." - Dr Who (Tom Baker, 1976).

so it means
31.2% of players have completed 12 challenges and maybe 5 % are not that much online, but still playing league 9.37% of players have completed 24 challenges and maybe 1-2% still trying for more 1.4% = no comment | |
Worst league so far imho. I feel GGG are misunderstanding the definition of 'challenge'. Please make the game challenging again or lose the hardcore player base.

Glad I'm not the only one who gave up on 36+ pretty soon.
For some reason I didn't get into the league this time, no drops, no good rares, no currency. I'm still stuck in T7/8 maps, and I won't reach 90 this time, while in Perandus i reached 94 (and 37/40) towards the end. Something's off IMO. Last edited by Cr4v3n on Jul 6, 2016, 2:05:11 AM

You people seriously saying that these challenges are grind? 36 was the easiest one ever, not a single time I turned on global or whatever to look for parties. Completed most of them by just playing the game and they feel more like Achievements not challenging at all.
I am missing 5l prophecy, End game grind, Div Cards and Maps from Bosses. Could easily go for 40. So GGG could we have something that really is challenging and not "You equipped a belt! Challenge done!" sort of thing? I know you want to care for really casual folks out there but Activate a waypoint "challenge"... come on. Something my 5 year old will do for me. I like though like there is no more so much forced trading included and complete X out of Y challenges, it is a step in good direction. I AM MAD
