Current Development Priorities
Lockstep was a major improvement and very much appreciated, but I was blown away with your recent performance improvements. Went from a dozen seconds logging in and a few seconds between areas to having effectively no load times on my Mac Pro (Late 2013). And you still expect to improve things very significantly? Awesome!
I can't understand how people can still feel justified in criticising your dedication to performance improvements. Such people seriously need to have a good long look under their own hoods and reduce their expectation if their computers are more than a few years old or budget boxes to begin with. Thanks much for your continued efforts in this area. |

Nice :) I gotta say that I was super happy with the improved loading times since the sound update!! It's like night and day. If the stuttering would get fixed too, it'd be awesome :) And the god damn crashes on loading... Happens almost every time when I open PoE the first time since I turn on my computer :/

Bring back the normal sound engine!
Current system really bugged and annoying. If you can not make it work as the previous - add the possibility of selection by the user between old and new engines. IGN: InquisitorTriD

So, first off, the issue with rare monster unique prophecies isn't just monsters outside of maps being hard to find, but also at least one prophecy (talon archers) who don't drop their Voltaxics for some players when killed in maps. Please look at the bug report forum for this; I can say that I've killed 2 rare talon archers in a volcano map and 3 in a museum map and gotten no voltaxic from the prophecy (so that prophecy is now sealed until I see a bugfix).

Bad balance. Poor Ascendant.

Nothing about 10 second freeze? I hope you will not remove waitforpreload command as it helped me. Now i hawe fast loading times on SSD and perfomance issues and do freezes.

I find it interesting (to use a nice word) that most developers optimise a game for SSD and completly forget about HDD when the vast majority of the computers are still using HDDs simply because SSDs are still rather expensive.
At least GGG is finally opening their eyes to the reality of their player base and not thinking about the few who actually have the money to buy an SSD. "The heavens burned
The stars cried out And under the ashes of infinity Hope, scarred and bleeding breathed it's last." |
