" I can't read the Russian modifier descriptions, but it looks like a Soul Eater nemesis rare that's been fed quite a lot. (Edit: yeah, at around 4 minutes into the video you can see it eating more monsters.) Last edited by Abdiel_Kavash#5296 on Feb 19, 2018, 3:04:03 PM

So if I am using orb of storms, CWDT, enfeeble, and curse on hit, why is CWDT not proc'ing orb of storms and then by extension enfeeble?
Do I need to cast Orb in order for the curse to apply? If so, then why is curse on hit there to begin with? Just to put the curse onto the mob when I use orb of storms? Orb of Storms explicitly states that it can only be manually cast. You need to use a Trigger-capable Spell to make said setup work. Make sure the Spell falls below CwDT's threshold, but the Curse is above CwDT's threshold.

" So herald of thunder would theoretically work with the setup? herald of thunder lvl 1, CWDT level 1, enfeeble lvl 17, curse on hit level 20? "Well you can just manually activate Herald of Thunder instead :P No need for CwDT there. Last edited by Vipermagi#0984 on Feb 19, 2018, 7:08:15 PM

Bless you, hoping that it procs often :D
edit: how do I get it to proc 100% of the time? upgrade my purity gem? "Bonus points if it is Scion/Witch because they have nice knees. Ranger has ugly knees and other characters are men so playing them would be homoerotic." - CAKE, 10/20/21 Last edited by darciaz#7624 on Feb 19, 2018, 7:39:38 PM

" The trigger condition for the lightning bolts from Herald of Thunder is that your character kills a Shocked enemy. Anything that helps you inflict Shock (greater Shock chance, greater Crit chance, more Lightning Damage on your hits*) will help the lightning bolts be active more frequently. *you kind of need both Lightning Damage amounts and Shock chance/chance substitute. Critical Strikes come with 100% chance to inflict elemental status ailments. Shock Effect is based on amount of Lightning Damage per hit by default, and you need at least 1% Shock Effect to inflict Shock. Some mechanics change the Lightning aspect to others (Elementalist Conflux, Three Dragons, etc.). Need game info? Check out the Wiki at: https://www.poewiki.net/

Hi Mark,
Trying to wrap my head around IIQ and how it stacks from different sources. From the sources I've scoured, I understand that there's the player stack and the monster stack. The monster stack is additive and is comprised of the monster bonus, and any party bonus. The player stack is from gear (and gem(legacy)). The monster stack is multiplicative with the player stack. For example, if a white mob has a 16% base chance to drop, and I'm in a party of two, then the monster stack is 16% plus the 50% party bonus (I'm not specifying item here, because I know the party bonus affects different categories differently). Let's say the player has 10% IIQ. Then the chance for a white mob to drop an item would be 16% * (1 + 50%(party bonus) + 0%(monster bonus)) * (1 + 10%(player bonus)) = 26.4% My question is does Map IIQ get added to the player bonus or the monster bonus? With respect to white mob drop chance? For instance, if I have Zana's 8% and a map that rolled 52% IIQ, would that be added to my player stack? So, 16% * (150%) * (170%) = 40.8%. Or, would the 8% + 52% be added to the monster stack? So, 16% * (210%) * (110%) = 36.96%? Or does Zana and Map IIQ behavior in a completely different manner? FYI, I ran 0% IIQ this entire league. Just asking to improve my mechanical knowledge of the game. |

Hey Mark and all the beautiful other helping people!
I've been wondering how damage stacking interacts with the upcoming gem Spectral Shield Throw. First, would the less damage multiplier from chain/fork apply twice, once to the main projectile and then again on the secondary projectiles? Second, how will it interact with the Gloomfang unique? (Projectiles gain (15-20)% of Non-Chaos Damage as extra Chaos Damage per Chain) With only 1 Chain from the amulet, will it gain 20% extra damage after the first chain, shoot out the secondary projectiles on the second hit, *keep* the 20% extra damage and add another 20% once the secondary projectile hits an enemy for a total of 40% extra damage? Or will it reset the extra damage once it explodes into the little projectiles. I suppose both questions will have the same answer, if the less damage applies twice, then the extra damage will apply twice aswell without resetting. Thanks in advance <3 |

map IIQ is yet another more multiplier to the total quantity btw @nomnaut its not additive with either mob iiq or player iiq
