How much tooltip with golems up and Pendulum?

First of all, great guide. I'm a new player and decided to try this build to get started, so far it's been a blast. The early levels were a piece of cake, and even though my gear is far from optimal (more on that later) it's still great.

Just now I'm starting to run into the first issues though, as I'm not able to afford the astramentis necklace (as a new player, 100 chaos is a loooot), I'm struggling to keep both my dex/str requirements up and at the same time get great energy shield + intelligence values.

I managed to get enough currency to buy the dexterity --> intelligence gem and now I'm at 2.2k energy shield with aura's etc, but at the same time kind of broke.

Do you have any recommendations on what to go for next?
I tried crafting gloves but ended up wasting most of my currency with no real good outcome :\

Also, my staff at the moment is a 6 slot (got really lucky there! :D with 3 blue, 2 red, and 1 yellow, should I keep it like that for a while or should I try to get 3 blue 3 red and try to connect them all. If so, what method would you recommend?)

I'm aware I picked the wrong things when ascending (whoops, but 2 gollems are cute :p), will fix this later

EDIT2: Also, in the skill tree, is it still recommended to go for avatar of fire as I haven't got the fire support gem connectable atm. Wouldn't it just be a dps loss?
-I'm aware my ring is bad as you said in the guide, don't know which one to go for as an affordable upgrade :s

Perandus gives you 10%. Helmet, staff, amulet, and 2 rings (perandus is a unique too).

You have to pick that ascendancy at first though. No mistake there.

I got 5920 dmg with golems and pendulum

8044 energy shield.

I'm going to try shaper with this build, it would also be my first time challenging the shaper.

I currently sit at 9.3k ES. I'm a bit worried about slow movement speed to dodge the beam with leapslam.

If anyone who has experience with this build and shaper, appreciate you checking my profile for recommendations on it or the fight itself and any further stats I may need.

Not bad stats maybe too low ES, for high-end maps you should try to get 9K ES min.

Just got lv89, 6830K dmg with golems and pendulum up (no elemental overload, just in hideout) and 1634 INT, 9054K ES.

BTW, just did Uber lab, today is very very easy, i got now all ascendacy nodes:V and put my CE lv 20/22 :-)

Don´t try to facetank his big Slam, it does about 14-15K.....just leap and go away, and good luck!! i´ll try at lv94 when i finish this build and hope to try about 9.1k or so.

Oh and just see that video against Shaper he put Purity of Ice and remove Warlor. Mark.

You only need Scorching ray to be linked to Cast while channelling, the rest of the support gems work without being linked to each other. So just get 3 blue and 3 red (you lack Fire penetration gem) sockets on your WI, take Avatar of Fire and have fun :)
p.s. That socket is not yellow, it's green :D

First of all gotta say great build, extremely well written guide and tremendously fun to play!

Could someone take a peek and maybe give some pointers as to where to improve any further?

Seems like I'm really struggling to get more than about 8k-ish ES and every rare that would be an actual upgrade would cost me a fortune (10 to 25ex or some such).
Really hard for me to justify shelling out that much at this point to be honest.
