[2.6] The Curse Whisperer - Tri-Curse CI Whispering Ice Elementalist - Viable for Everything
I've been catching up on other games while nothing much is going on in PoE until 3.0. Thank you all for keeping the thread alive and answering questions!
" Grats! 300c is like 20-25 Deafening Spites? That's pretty normal. When you can afford to buy essences in bulk (i.e. don't risk getting screwed by bad RNG if you only have a few), belt crafting is actually very profitable. You spend 300c making something like this, and then you sell it for a lot more. But keep one for yourself, of course. " No, you must have missed something. The lv 92 tree in the guide is the exact tree my LSC char (Ice_Legacy) has at lv 92, and all trees in the Leveling Guide are 100% accurate as well, I checked them all while leveling her. Bandits are Kraityn - Kill - Kill. Check if you forgot to free Deshret on Merciless, that's the most common cause of a missing point, and that quest won't even show in your list if you don't bother doing anything after getting to A4M. " He's saying assuming all 3 bandits killed. So yeah, it is a level 91 tree if you kill all 3, though the build says you should kill only 2.
" Replace Doedre's Damning with another Perandus Signet. You'll gain a substantial amount of DPS and ES. That's a lot better than adding a 4th curse. Curses get mitigated by bosses, and to add another curse you'd have to use a 6L chest. But if you have a 6L chest then Enhance as a 6th gem is awesome. And another Perandus is just better anyway. " Ah, you're right, I misunderstood him. My bad. " The wolf form is invulnerable. You either destroy Rigwald before he turns into a wolf or survive the wolf until he turns back into Rigwald (run from it, have golems/clone distract it, or just pop granite+basalt+staunching). about rigwald: rush in, stand in front of him, cast the orb of storms and maybe an icestorm or two. he usually initiates the fight with his wolf barrage. when you see him starting the barrage, move behind him and stack icestorms on top of him as much as possible. it usually takes him 2-3 seconds to go from his wolf barrage into the wolf form, during this transition, he takes full damage and melts to the stacked icestorms if your damage is high enough. this way, the fight is over in under 10 seconds and poses no real threat.

" THIS. Perhaps the most important thing to do there: upon entering the arena, pop Quicksilver ASAP and run straight to Rigwald. He's one of those 'act boss' types who talks for a few sec before doing anything, but he's immediately vulnerable and you can melt his face before he's even done talking.
" Oho, I didn't notice the change in the guide to helping Kraityn. I remember the guide recommending killing all three bandits originally! Thanks!
can't seem to get this build too work, I can't kill the guardians, I could only kill Normal Atziri and Phoenix with this build. other guardians are IMPOSSIBLE, if they hit me with anything i die instantly. what em I doing so drastically wrong with my build could anybody check my Witch char out and see what i'm doing wrong?
I got a few Ex i could use to improve my char. Only reason i picked this build is that i thought it could handle everything. right now im not killing much with it. |

Got this crafted after three Essences, I guess it is good for now? I've now level 85.

" Grats! 51% resists and ES mod = good enough. Get a decent chest, then boots, and finish your resists with the gloves (easiest/cheapest slot to find). |
