izaros also have 25% cold dmg. so isn't it 50% total?

My mistake, I though spell damage was counted twice like elemental damage is due to the elemental conversion.

i read a few pages of this thread and havnt seen my question. at the start of the tree you go around the spell damage and take the int nodes. why is that wouldnt you get more spell damage off the nodes that the 20 or 30 int?

You take the int nodes because the Icestorm damage is based on total intelligence and therefore those nodes are more worthy than spell damage nodes.

Also @kelvynn I'm pretty stuck with this gear, can you point me into what should focus on upgrading next? doing T10 maps with no issues tho, but RNG is shit.

So I'm having a hard time getting all my resists to 75% if i get the perandus signet. Do you think it's better to go with a rare ring with 45 int and get my resists to 75 (and use basalt flask for physical), or should I use perandus signet and the wise oak flask for my resists?

I'd use a rare ring until the other items are good enough on resists. The flask is awesome but it won't be up 100% of the time against endgame bosses.

It's interesting how the appreciation of the game is somewhat dependent on currency.

In Breach, exalted orbs dropped left and right for me, I got an Astramentis on day 2, I could 6-socket gear in 50 orbs, and my spite crafting worked great. So I had lots of fun and got up to 92 fairly quickly with T16-level gear.

In this league, I've found zero items worth more than 4 chaos, I'm still using a rare amulet, spite crafting is failing miserably (nothing good after 30+ tries), and zero 6-sockets in hundreds of orbs. And I can't wait for 3.0...

Hehe... Luck happens. I always blow a stack of fuses on a good chest or weapon drop, just in case. RNGesus smiled and that Disfavor from Uber Atziri in the video got 6L'd. Things like that sure do wonders for the mood. :)

Have a question about vigilant strike: It is linked to leap slam and faster attacks, but the fortify buff is never applied to me after i leap slammed an enemy.

So whats wrong? Probably as vigilant strike is a front attack and leap slam isn't?

You don't fortify with Leap Slam anymore. You get Fortify from VS. Bind it to a key, takes a little time to get used to it, but it works great. They are still linked together because FA is great for both of them.

Got question, should i prefer izaros turmoil or rare jewels? if resists is not an issue, and if i should get rare jewel, then which ones u suggest? :) other than dat, the build is AWESOME !

See the Gear-Jewels section. Add up the values of the useful mods. Getting the same value (or very close) with Int is better than with raw damage.

How does the Bismuth Flask work with same amounth of resist?
I have 129% Fire resist and 130% Cold and Lightning Resist.
That is bad, as I dont get Fire Penetration so I buy a jewel that gives more Fire Resistance.

Then I would have 20% Fire Penetration and 10% reduced lighning and Cold Damage?

If you have equal values, they both work. If you are a min-max genius and get all 3 resists to the same exact value, you get penetration for all 3 resists and reduced damage from all 3 elements at the same time. Although that doesn't really work for this build. You don't need all that for the trash, and for the top bosses you use Purity because 4% overcap resist that's up 100% of the time is far safer than a temporary damage reduction for 2x5 sec.

Have the fire resist on top, that will get you the penetration in all mapping. When you need to use a non-fire Purity (i.e. the Shaper, sometimes Hydra or Mino with nasty mods) bring a Ruby flask and pop it together with the Wise Oak - that will get fire back on top. I switched one of my flasks to Ruby in the Shaper setup for that reason.

Drop Deep Thoughts, it's not needed with CwC.

Replace that jewel near VP with Fertile Mind ASAP. You really want to convert all those Dex nodes to Int.

Your rare jewels are very weak, you can find much better for like 5c.

Where is Doedre's Damning? Your resists can't be that bad to require both rings and the belt to cover for them. At worst, you may need a rare ring with 50+ Int and high resists, that's 1-3c usually.

Take Diamond Skin! With those points from Deep Thoughts. That's why your resists suck.

17% WI? But 18% cost nothing in this league. 1% isn't much but it's almost free.

If you have a Blessed orb, apply it to the Astramentis.

500 ES chest is an obvious upgrade candidate. Boots, gloves too. Especially the boots. Start with the chest. Then craft a belt. Then look for boots and gloves. It usually takes a couple rounds of upgrading to better items until your stuff is good enough for the endgame. Get something better, sell your old stuff.

Why 2 sulphur flasks?

Not many other flasks help much maybe 1 silver flask for cast speed?

Or do you just love having 3 uses on it.

Still get the fortify buff with leap slam, so i will stick to fortify instead of vigilant strike, have no empty key for that ;)
