But what about our dmg support gems ? We have to refuse from two of ones to put sr and cwc, shouldn't this decrease our dmg ? Sorry, to much information, don't have enough brain activity to master everything ). (Ilve been playing this game 2 weeks).

I lose about 200 average damage in exchange for getting to max icestorms without mana leeching almost instantly. And you get fire penetration on bosses.
That brings up another interesting question. Since we don't need +1 to gems without enlighten, isn't a good rare helmet better now? Sure, we lose some int but would easily gain another 800-1000 ES plus some resists.

Thoughts?
Yeah about the whole damage thing, I definitely feel like bosses die slower than self cast but man clearing maps is so easy with cwc. I was wondering if anyone has done a staff swap for self cast against bosses to use IR and culling or more damage + culling. I definitely miss using IR.

I can't equip the enlighten helm anyways because I lose huge chunk of my already meager 7.1k ES(technically a fresh start except I started with an astra my second time around after I ripped my first witch cuz I had been saving up for it). So does the new build not include Black Sun now?

Can't wait to see the new guide for sure, I love how detailed you get so I can understand them taking a while, especially with so many classes to update.

Daaaaaamn. That's worth at least 5ex, probably more. The total perfection would be 60 value (two 16 prefixes, 16 Int suffix and a 12 spell or area dmg) but 57 is very, very nice indeed.

That's exactly the problem. :) It's similar to running Hexproof maps. On my Standard chars I don't even notice it, 12k ES is enough of a buffer to take some damage before you leech it all back. But when I tried your setup on the Berserker while leveling up with semi-decent gear and working through the Atlas (i.e. rare and then corrupted maps) I got owned way too often for comfort. Sure, Berserker takes slightly more damage but not that much more that it would be safe for the Elementalist.

Haste is not a big deal anyway. 9% movespeed, slightly less clunky Leap Slam. Cast speed is not important with CwC. 'Advanced users' with high level chars and godly gear have enough experience with the build to use whatever fits their particular situation the best. But for the default setup I don't see anything better than WM+Blasphemy. Maybe they'll add something new in 3.0...

Nope. Your tooltip goes a little down, your cast speed goes a little up, and you gain extra resist debuff. Overall DPS stays pretty close but you don't need to worry about mana anymore, you can pre-stack 14 Icestorms on a boss before the fight starts, and you are free to move at any time without getting stuck in the Icestorm casting animation.

Black Sun Crest was never chosen for the +1 gem level bonus. Being able to use Enlighten before lv 3 was just a side bonus. 15% increased Int is the reason for using this helmet. And nothing changes about that.

You would indeed gain 800-1k ES. But you'd lose 1k+ damage. This build is not about ES, it's about damage and leech.

Can i use OrbOfStorm-CoH-flammability-ElementalWeakness setup instead CWDT-BallLightning-CoH-Enfeeble- Temporal Chains setup? just for more damage.
Does it make sense to take one of these belts ? or it is too expensive and is not worth buying

imho you can get a similar or even better belt if you spend those 1.5ex on a white crystal belt and essences of spite.
