What level do I use to get the book - that is trade the regrets and amulet? What level do I turn it into Eramir? Normal? I am in Merciless now.

Loving this build so far. Currently level 82, hoping to find some good gloves and boot upgrades.

I've been thinking of maybe trying to get a +1 Curse Astramentis so I can use a really nice ring with high int/es/resists.

@Kelvynn Any chance you can update your flask section anytime soon? You give general advice for the T16 & Shaper fights in your videos and I see you doing them runing things like all 5 ruby for phenoix, or 3 basalt and 2 granite for chimera and i saw 2 onslaught and 3 sapphire for shaper. If you could give a few tips on prefix/suffix and set ups for the T16 that would be amazo!

However! I was busy with something else for a few days, and apparently there have been significant changes to the Shaper event. He will now use Teleport Slam even if you are facetanking him, regardless of the golems! So you have to be prepared for that. That attack is pretty slow, and the moment you see him start doing it you just need to run away, then dodge his next attack and get back to him. But it costs time. And the floating icy balls are much more active now. Looks like their awareness radius has been increased and they start chasing you from much farther away now. Now, THAT is actually very bad. They come straight at you when they spawn during the Total Chaos phase, and it's hard to handle them in a way that won't trash Zana's bubble because they come from different directions.

The Shaper is quite a bit harder now.
I did it with patch 2.4.1, i noticed the TP Slam when i was in melee, but he didn't one shoted me (tanked it 3-4 times).

About the floating icy balls you can move in circle and trigger them at the edge of Zana's bubble, like this you keep a safe zone in the middle of the bubble.
The fight was glitchy as hell, lots of freeze, the animation of TP slam make graphics artefacts.

The few difficulties i encountered came from technical issues.

Hi, I finally got my resists to use Black Sun Crest and with a level 2 enlighten. I have my gem set up in the helmet exactly like yours, so I threw on arctic armor, and I can only cast one Icestorm with my mana pool. I realize the point is to mana leech, but running a map is awful with completely being reliant on mana leech, not only for damage but for survivability. Having only one shot instead of two really limits you for when mobs move around or for when you misplace an Icestorm.

Also, why do you go all the way down to Unwavering Stance for stun immunity when you can just use Valyrium instead? I realize you use Doedre's ring for tri curse, but I was under the impression that temp chains wasn't very useful vs. bosses unless you were max curse effectiveness. By going Valyrium I can save so many points to get things like Foresight, Nullification, Unnatural Calm, and the ES nodes around the witch start which make all the difference in EHC.

It is true that I lose about 100 intelligence due to the Brute Force jewels, but I can pick up Catalyse, Elementalist, and Celestial Judgement for double dipping elemental damage for way more damage compared to the ~13% increased spell damage that 100 intelligence would give me. AND I'm getting all this way earlier.

This is my first WI character and I certainly don't know everything about it so I was hoping you could clear up some of my misunderstandings.

I'm lvl 88 now (semi-casual this league) and have been hanging around in the Tier 12-15 area. Now my plan is to get ready for Shaper and Guardians. Do you have any recommendations on next upgrades?

They reduced the damage of Teleport Slam? That would be interesting... I haven't tried tanking it since it was a guaranteed 1-shot in the epicenter before. So when I saw him start it last night I just dodged it every time. I'll try tanking it.

The balls are still manageable, of course, but it's a lot harder now and more random. You lose ES when you move thru the existing vortexes to pop the balls safely away from the center. And you also risk getting killed by the flying purple projectiles if you happen to step outside the bubble while moving.

The fight is now more graphics intensive. They added a lot of moving animations to the ice balls and the purple projectiles. It's distracting as fuck and I guess it can lag if your video card is not high end.

Some of the old bugs are still there too. The laser beam is very often not where it appears. Sometimes you stand right in it and take no damage at all, other times you stand clearly outside of it and take damage as if you were in it. Good thing this build can outleech it. But it must be really annoying to the builds that have to dodge it.
