When Chris says that lab haters are a minority, how right is he?
" The labyrinth requires you to think, be responsive and makes your choices matter... uberlab is the most enjoyable and rewarding content currently in the game. | |
I did an uber lab last night with the full charges and condiuts as an assassin. Any hit would have killed me. It was quite thrilling, and I was rewarded with 7 keys. It was one of my best PoE experiences yet.

" Presumably, the base for that alleged statement is the frequency for lab-runs. Which, since ascendancy-points is equal to character progression, most likely is quite high. It would be interesting (to say the very least) to see the statistics for frequency of lab-runs, if Ascendancy-points were gained by some other non-lab related means. I dare you, GGG! :D |
|
" How is shit ping only a problem in lab? |
|
" Wow. That is an extremely stacked metric to use. First off, like you said Ascendancy points are just too important to ignore ("Optional," my ass. They're as "optional" as equipping gems. Maybe some people are happy nuzlocking this shit, but they're the real minority here). Secondly, the labyrinth is very easy to fail, and failure means you start over. So how many times, on average, do you think people step through the gates compared to how many times they actually complete it? Because if GGG is going to base their metrics on lab attempts rather than lab completions, then they're just being intentionally dishonest. This is a buff™

" No offense but the only thinking required is how often I need to glance at my other monitor to know where to run, and the only "responsive" gameplay is casting an Enduring Cry. Otherwise, it's about as brainless as most things in this game really. I do agree it's rewarding but it's fucking aids to run over and over again imo. Fake Temp League Elitists LUL

He's delusional to say the least most likely misinterpreting the cause of people even running the lab at all , which is ofc for the ascendancy points .

" Because you can roll the difficulty of the maps yourself / even choose specific maps whereas in the lab it's quite common to desync and die any time, either due to traps or Izaro phase 3 when you sometimes have so little space to maneuver, you will die for sure with shitty ping. Let me just say that even though I dislike the lab, I'm sick and tired of these lab threads. I can't take them anymore, they're worse than the lab itself.
