If it solved those problems, the half the community that knows better would agree with you.

You realize your "solution" is "Mr Obvious" and the way 99% of everyone who ran the lab has already done so. Movement skills has been one of the only ways to have half a chance at it for many builds.

Nah, this mysterious "half of the community" is a noisy minority. GGG mentioned that before.

If you're already using the bow solution and you still suck at the lab, well... I hear there's a new and improved version of minesweeper. It's pretty complicated though unless you think about what to click next.

I'm rarely swayed in POE's difficulty disagreements by people who only play Softcore. More importantly I'm never swayed when those disagreements try to prop themselves up by throwing out weak insults.

Fortunately, this is an issue that doesn't need opinions. GGG is often slow to make necessary changes to their newer content, but it eventually will happen... and will happen in the way that makes the lab more easily digested by variety builds.

I cringed reading we now have to push a barrel through the lab. Sounds awful. More tedious work. Bad!

And can we change Izaro's dialogue? A lot of what he says about how an ideal emperor should behave is absurd babble. Senselessness!
GGG please. MAKE LAB EASIER, IT SHOULD NOT BE THIS TEDIOUS.

But above all, if lab must be a challenge, PLEASE AT LEAST CONSIDER REBALANCING IT FOR CI/LL/Hybrid characters. We take WAY TOO MUCH DAMAGE, making it very unviable for many LL/CI/Hybrid characters to run lab without dying. I am an HC player but if I were to play prophecy league I don't think I will play HC because I don't want to stress about possibly losing a character to crappy trap mechanics that are currently imbalanced.

I'm sure you're a great HC player. I'm sure you're immune to weak insults. Unfortunately, the game isn't all about you. (or me)
I'll never be able to sway your opinion, no matter how many times you die in the lab because of careless mistakes and poor planning... or "lag". But no amount of QQ is going to prevent your HC toon from going standard in 8 days, 22 hours. Scrubville express for everyone.

The lab is tough and painful. It's a challenge. The rewards are something everyone desperately wants. There's just a few who think Ascendancy points should be handed out without Ascending. GGG has already made it's decision. Sure, they will tweak it as time goes on, but if you want ascendancy points, suck it up and get ready for the lab to chew up and spit out your HC toons.
tedium = boring = bad game design

Tedium has nothing to do with difficulty.

A suggestion: Make it so that if you haven't gotten all 6 trials, the ones you find are weighted towards ones you haven't seen before. It would be annoying to have 5, and then keep getting ones you don't care about.

Additionally, a request for the labyrinth style play at large: Make it so that after each Izaro Fight, there's a break point in the lab where you can freely exit the game and come back later. This takes a lot of the aggravation out of having to do it all in one sitting.
Might actually stop playing POE, or at least only play standard and only respec old characters when getting opportunity. For the people that like the labyrinth and for some reason want others to be forced to do it, imagine if you had to chose between playing Festers Quest for the NES or watching old non relevant stock news from some other country for 2 hours every time you made a new character in POE. Imagine complaining about that, and being told to suck it up and just do it.
I for one don't enjoy the labyrinth at all. It was ok the first time, boring the second time and awful ever since. I would actually rather play Festers Quest.

OMG!! Another fracking Lab!

I hate the Lab and am totally against having Ascendancy points gated behind it.

Actually its pretty fun thinking about the things you'd do instead of running the lab. Some pretty nasty stuff comes to mind, still much better than that thing.
