Some like it, some don't. Enchants are RNG. Those aren't the issue.
The issue is the Lab is an unnecessarily deadly online timing puzzle that severely impacts HC players. It gates character progression behind mechanics that are trivial to some builds, impossible for others.

Wrong on many levels, however dead wrong when comparing monster kills to traps.
Kills can be bought by someone who is not comfortable killing or has a poorly designed build for the encounter. Traps MUST be completed individually.
Most traps can be avoided with the bow method I mentioned earlier. But I won't repeat myself again because it's so simple and solves a big chunk of the lab problems for hybrid builds.

Every time we roll an enchant it should be stored in a codex or something in our hideout then puting an helmet/glove/boot inside this book let us select the enchant we want among all those we unlocked.
We would still need to run this chore 300+ times but at least if we change build we can change the enchant without having to think about this tedious enchant any more.
VERY nice idea !! I love it :) GGG, make it real !! :)

I wasn't a big fan of the lab but this one seems to add an enormous RNG layer just to access it, which i'm afraid will be as bad as atziri access.
Just thinking that i'll have to let the RNG decide for all my chars to be able to get the last 2 points makes me sick already.
RNG to enter, then a stupid RNG wall for enchants.

If it solved those problems, the half the community that knows better would agree with you.
You realize your "solution" is "Mr Obvious" and the way 99% of everyone who ran the lab has already done so. Movement skills has been one of the only ways to have half a chance at it for many builds.

Nah, this mysterious "half of the community" is a noisy minority. GGG mentioned that before.
If you're already using the bow solution and you still suck at the lab, well... I hear there's a new and improved version of minesweeper. It's pretty complicated though unless you think about what to click next.

But what level is the endgame lab area?

If you are going to change the Labyrinth, doing away with the trials is all well and good but it's blatantly retarded that i can run through and do Merc Lab and not have Normal and Cruel points automatically given to me.

You know what I think should happen.
I think they should remove the EXP loss cap. Meaning you can lose EXP past your current level. You can keep you skillpoints but you will lose the exp all the way back to level 1 if you keep dieing. Lets see if SC still likes traps then.

omg, +1. No, +100000000. This is so fucking vital.
Obviously it'd either be per-char or per-league, so that you can't just enchant god-tier stuff in a new challenge league. Still, so fucking worth.
