Great guide and build.

I'm currently level 80 in the Hardcore Prophecy League

Changed a few gems around so I can dual curse with my corrupted Anvil.

This is my current setup.

I've had trouble getting enough Int and Dex! Resists was a pain too when using The Anvil & Voidheart.

How would you guys set this up to run dual curse & Grace? Would you change anything in my setup?

Cheers

Similar setup with you, run dual curse and grace. Skill tree I go ranger area for more block and dex. I think AoE from mace tree and Breath of Council is enough without AoE tree on templar side. Only need int from gear.

I'd move Bloodletting points into the 3 points to Skullcracking, 52% increased phys triple-dipping for the initial hits, bleeds & poisons.

All "increased damage with weapons" type of nodes ONLY scale the initial hits, Bleeding/Poison don't inherit as "damage with xxx weapon".

Correct me if I'm wrong, while heart of oak and herbalist are good nodes, don't we get enough block chance to max block by popping rumi's with OP's original build?

With that said OP, how do you feel about NOT taking unwavering stance? With so much life and defense I wonder how often stun is a problem for this build

Also OP, how do you feel about attaching either fire or stone golem to CWDT in place of concentrated effect?

This build has been super great. Rank 4 gladiator right now in Prophecy SC. I'm gonna stop now, I got the monkey pet, cleared all content except for Uber Atziri, and the leveling is slow and boring compared to previous leagues.

Couple of points, I took Outmatch and Outlast as my 4th Ascendancy - the 10% more damage at full frenzy charges and less damage taken at full endurance charges - it is a clear choice this is the best.

Unwavering Stance and Iron Reflexes are not needed if you take all armour gear (I posted my gear and passives here earlier). Save the two points. And you can get a little bit of evading and possible blind if you want.

Currently sitting at 17.4k tooltip dps and 33.6k after lion flask. Estimated around 200k real dps (about similar to my other 200k dps builds).

Also, Hematophagy wheel sounds more desirable than the Lust for Carnage as mentioned here. You get more leech and more max leech. This is desirable since we don't leech much (just our earthquake damage). The drawback is putting two or three more points into the skill tree, which is very tight because you need all the jewel sockets and life nodes that you can get. Maybe going the bottom route to the Maurader area and saving a few points may help - I'll try to fiddle around.

Izaro and Uber Lab runs - do my setup - need cwdt immortal call for these traps ugh. Izaro goes down fast, no real worry there - just move out of the way after a few hits - he needs to move to get the bleed damage going. I sometimes facetank him if I'm lazy (he will never one shot you) but consecutive hits will kill you. Now its all a scripted fight for Izaro and me - I hit him several times, and circle around him until he does his big moves, and rinse and repeat. Enduring cry when skeletons are up, pop pots before I go into him.

The skill gem links are shown below. I always carry leap slam and enfeeble to switch out when needed.

Can we see your tree? :D
It may be a stupid question, but why is no one running their 6L with void manipulation? Does it not work for the poisen from EQ? Or is the more phys damage from fortify better? (I linked my fortify to shield charge)

The flat armor gain from IR + Grace is nuts though, makes uber lab a joke and I don't run IC at all. To test I took Izaro slash, sunder, slam + normal hits in a row and didn't get below ~50% (with all conduits + some charges). What are you using in place of Grace? I can't see your gems for some reason...

It's there I can see it. I'm using determination and mostly all armour gear - with flasks I too have over 20k armour (10k just with determination). With high armour shield and "increased defenses from shield" determination is on par with grace + IR (gets even better when you stack more armour). Anyhow, even if I spec IR and put grace, my overall armour is about similar.

The only arguement to using IR is it's easier to gear and chrome sockets, you can double dip increased evasion rating and armour, and when you have unwavering stance, might as well go IR. Unwavering stance is good for bosses like crematorium where so many fast hits get you stun locked. But if you know the fights you can avoid these easily. I'm playing softcore and I know I'm prepared to get stunned in boss fights once in a while - your choice entirely.

Say Izaro hits 5k unmitigated, and 4k with fortify. You need 40k armour to mitigate 2k of that damage. Armour is a bad investment against big hits and thats why this build has layered defense (block, end, fortify, basalt flask etc). I don't believe you can survive consecutive hits from Izaro if our blocks fail.. Anyways bottom line is we are extremely safe for Izaro fights but I will continue to play safe around him.

Someone asked about my passives - it's similar to the original build just mace dps and more jewel slot, unspecced unwavering stance and IR, I posted the link a few pages ago, and you can go to my character tab also.

Poison is about half of our overall dps when the target is stationary (given you are htiting it constantly). Void manipulation only increases poison damage. The math section in the original posting has it covered thoroughly.

Bleeding is physical damage over time and scales with rapid decay. When the target moves (knockback or chasing you), it is going to do insane amount of dps. Also, the less duration on rapid decay will proc our earthquake at faster rate.

Fortify is the good option just for defense, it doesn't increase dps much since it is global additive (not more multiplier). On past max block melee builds - sometimes people use melee damage on full life gem with Aegis Aurora, or hypothermia with Soul Taker axe, to give you some examples. But I think the EQ-less dur-conc effect-melee physical-rapid decay-fortify is a direct upgrade from the 2.2 build and the voidheart enables that.
is it possible to chance Voidheart in prophecy?
