The item is a pretentious novelty skin transfer / collector item and that's it. And of course Charan is happy with it, and he's the only one who needs to be since he's the one who paid for it.

Chris says this can apparently clear T15 maps faster than he ever has. I want him to show us the build where I can't literally just swap this sword out for a 5L Oro's or 5L Doomsayer, change a couple points on the passive tree, change for a comparable 2H skill and maybe slot in a fireborn jewel and not clear at a similar speed or faster. Never mind using builds actually tuned to those weapons.

And if you're going to say "the power of the weapon is that you can reave with a two-hander", I'm pretty sure you can go on to poe.trade and buy a proper one hander with comparable damage and a 6L chest for a fraction of the cost of crafting this. And that's not even accounting that with a proper 1H weapon you can equip a shield or go ham and southpaw dual wield.

Yes, this is available at a lower level, but there's simply no way to acquire that level of wealth by level 51 unless you just spend all day flipping. If you could actually get this reasonably at lvl 51 it would be quite powerful for that level. The most obvious comparison would be Terminus Est and this a good solid 30-40% better not counting the crit and free 6L. (remembering again that you can't reave with TE and you can with this)

But not only do you need a 6L to make this, you need an lvl 70+ 6L. So the ONLY way to get this at lvl 51 is to trade for that component. You can't even god RNG your way into this weapon. With scorned, I believe chance to ignite used to be a lower level so you could actually literally get it right at lvl 28 provided you had a GCP or a quality chance to ignite drop. Even if it wasn't, the weapon is designed for cruel and it's still very reasonable to get it before then.

You can clear T15 maps with this the same way you can kill Brutus naked... it's possible, miserable, and nobody will do it except as an experiment.

I think it doesn't need an official reply: the sword type is "One-handed sword", so it is affected by nodes that affect One-handed swords.

However, I'm only hinting, I can't be 101% sure.

And that, my fellow exiles, is the purpose of this weapon - Goddess Challenge... clear tier 15 map...

Am i missing something or does this sword end up being somewhat worse than average compared to other 'end-game' gear?

sure, but it is a 1 handed sword that uses both hand slots...so its reasonable to count as dual too. I hope they confirm or deny soon, i dont have enough chars to test all the nodes and builds

This is so disappointing.
This sword is just plain terrible.

The only thing I can think of..and something that could make this well worth the cost is: Can you vaal it and get a 6L 1h rare sword?

I dont want to rain down on Charan's parade, but the sword looks criminally underpowered. I know he doesnt want it to be OP, but that could use a buff. Especially if it takes a freaking EXQUISITE BLADE 6 LINKED AND 3 DIVINES
