You mean mooch from others? Unimaginable. Besides, lots of people play mostly solo too. The cheapest 6L exquisite blade on poe.trade is 8 ex. Just to put things into perspective, a 6L voltaxic is about 10 ex. But 6L is not needed to be viable with voltaxic- maybe 5L? 1 ex. It's a fact that the sword is disproportionately weak. This calls for a buff.

Well, the recipe is hard (or badly designed, whatever), I'll give you that.
But it took that long to solve it because the vast majority community didn't give a damn about trying at all. That sword seems so freaking niche that no one figured a way to build around competitively (considering other weapons) especially end game.

Oh, don't come with the "why everything must be end game viable?" crap, because the sword doesn't resemble an end game item and is way too expensive for leveling, that is just settled.

Besides the mid version seems to be much more desirable to build around for leveling and cost way less.

The skin is sick though.

edit: read that everybody complained about the sword. Well, clearly it should had another stage(so it gets relevant "meta wise", the sword in itself is in a bad spot but yet it has very interresting mechanics, so overall to me it's well designed. Underwhelming for an unique isn't bad, it's a very unique item in its own right.

PoE is a way above average game in the current market, and the aspect that was developped through Charan investment isn't something to be ashamed about, it's a good tribute and its as emulating as it should.

Better fix some serious issues in the game than making a storyline how the world found the recipe of a worse sword

The riddle was more impressive than teh sword... Tbh I wouldnt waste a 6 linked sword and a bunch of currency for this because i probably get something better just by crafting it.. as in a LOT stronger than this.

I love the sword for three reasons:

1. It has no obvious role in the current meta, which means there is room for some creativity instead of just another rung on a linear power creep ladder. The sword is truly unique and touches on the core of what makes PoE fun to play, watch, and read about for me: creating ways to kill things quickly (and hipster builds!).

2. The riddle, lore, and aesthetics all around are awesome and I love that GGG went out of their comfort zone to get all of these pieces together.

3. As galuf mentioned, this sword is a result of the type of financial support that makes the rest of the game possible. Thank you for supporting my favorite game in a way most of us aren't able to.

Please GGG, buff this item. I think you misunderstand it.

Any justification that the damage is low because it is a 1h sword is just untrue, it is a 2h sword as it requires both hands. It should have 2h sword strength. Any justification that it is a guaranteed 6L is also untrue. You NEED a 6L to make it, you are transforming a 6L into a different 6L, not getting a 6L from something less.

Add a new mod. Maybe "melee physical damage increases fire damage with this weapon" or "50% increased fire damage to ignited enemies" or some other unique mod that makes it powerful, if used right. Buff the base damage. Anything. Just make it something people will use.

Using Hatred and Herald of Thunder with the Goddess? Really? >_<
