Hello,

Im somewhat new to POE and dont have alot of knowledge about hideouts, does it matter what hideout you pick with this build or is it just personal preferences?

Thanks for the build btw :)

Just personal preferences
Hi guys, level 69 doing very low tier maps. Can you take a look and give some advice? Damage is one or two shots most white mobs but takes forever to kill bosses, even with swap in of conc effect. Survivability is very squishy. some yellows, espceially from the essence crystals, just straight up 2 shot me and can't take any direct hits from bosses.

After playing for about a month I have about 90 chaos, what is the best upgrade to get?

Your build seems a bit different compared to the original. Looks like you dropped a lot of life nodes and the MoM and clear mind jewel. What's your HP at? Able to take some hits from bosses?
Also how are the Surgebinders? They give a good increase to damage?

Did Core + Vaal Temple + Minotaur all vaaled with some annoying mods (temp chains + enfeeble +boss dmg), ended up dying once in each to the bosses. I end up running out of flasks then dying when the bosses are around 25%hp remaining, will swap out my HP flask for an Overflowing Chalice next time I try those. If that doesn't work I will probably need to swap out controlled destruction for crit chance.

Going to do a few Uber Atziri in the hopes of getting an Acuity.

I have gone +Armor & +Evasion on Gloves + Boots + Helm + Belt to try boost all defences. Working really well, can tank pretty much any hit I have received so far as long as I have available mana + flasks, and the evasion is noticeable against Argus and such.

Im at 5.2khp and 22k dmg with incr area in HO, full buffed Im at 81k

I did phoenix and hydra, both with 1 death. Im 1 shot at phoenxi, so need to move, hydra was a\out of flask but because of poor management
I run blasfemy for QoA and its softcore, if i die there is no problem

If I drop some dmg and get 1 more jewel with hp and hp/resist gloves I go to 5.8k

Ok, I will roll a basalt flask. But the cheapest vinktar costs 90c and taste costs 390c. I can't afford that stuff. Is there something I can buy that will help that costs less than 1 ex?

get this until you afford vinktar: Rumi + basalt + granite + diamond + quicksilver (or hp flask instead of diamond or quicksilver)
change quicksilver for anything defensive for bosses along with conc effect

you can use Atziri promise if dmg is low, but keep: rumi+basalt+granite
hello, can you help me with optimizing my gear and links? one of porblems - very squishy, die right after vessel over. im have around 3.5k hp and capped resist's, try to farm t10, but die sometimes fast

What's everyone showing on their BV tooltip? I know tooltip isn't the most accurate way to determine DPS, but I'm just wondering if I'm low or high.

Sitting in hideout at level 91, totally unbuffed 20/20% BV, 6L with 20/20% added chaos (most other gems are 19/20%), I'm showing 11,200. With lvl 21 Hatred, 13,600, and with all flasks up (I have all the required flasks, conversion vinktar) 16,400.

I have 4 rare jewels that all give at least 12% spell or area damage. Have a couple that have additional damage mods. 55% clear mind.

Need to get your gems to 20/20%. That will make a big difference in damage. Get a Taste of Hate if you can afford it, it adds a good bit. Rathpith will make you less squishy, and get a dagger with spell damage. You can get one with at least 75% spell damage for less than 10c. Get more items with life, make sure your resistances are maxed at 75% when you're in merciless.
Pretty great build.

gear:
Vinktar PTL, TOH, 29/15 rumi, remove shock flask (qs, ruby, basalt, diamond, aquamarine), life + remove freeze flask. I can keep Vinktar up very reliably with Overflowing Chalice but I don't know what flask to swap out. For curses I have a Basalt of Warding.

note: my rare gloves and my boots have some other non-related gems, ignore those. My gems for those are bv-pcoc-coh-wm and lightning golem-culling

With rathpith, facebreakers (what I usually use): 5716 life, 1570 mana
With rare shield, facebreakers (if I'm doing bosses that don't use spells): 5835 life, 1732 mana
With rathpith, rare gloves: 5907 life, 1570 mana
With rare shield, rare gloves (I don't like this one; no spell block nor crit multi): 6020 life, 1732 mana

Things I've done:
Endgame lab full key runs (including a couple bad mod combos like gargs, fonts, charges)
Uber Atziri (2 portals left)
T15 bosses except Overgrown Ruin (I'll talk about that below)
Phoenix (I actually facetanked his fire burst several times with a ruby flask, I was playing with another char and I'm not sure if he was doing anything that would contribute to my facetanking)

I think I've hit a wall. I couldn't do:
Minotaur with no regen + hexproof made me low on mana so it was really hard to handle his burrowing shots. I feel like even without those mods his burrow is hard since I can't leech while he's underground.
Overgrown Ruin bosses; the ST + storm call guy and the chaos-searing-bond totem guy were hard to handle for me.

Other nagging issues:
2 failed Hydras in parties. One, I died to something I didn't see as soon as I went into the room. The other, I stood right in front of her barrage and got bursted down.
Failed a Chimera in a party. Got stunlocked by the snakes.

For the most part I can facetank but I'm really not feeling so confident about late endgame content. Anyone have any thoughts or advice on those issues I'm having?
It would be great if someone had video of finishing Guardians and Shaper with this build.

Hi guys, just bought this vinktar:

Got a pretty bad roll on charges used.

Is it important to have a good stat ? got a divine orb, will it just roll that stat or it can also change the 'type' of the flask (changing the conversion phy -> light to another stat)

Thanks !

The divine will only change the "increased charges used" mod on your flask. The conversion roll doesnt get changed with a divine. I feel like its not worth it for the 5 extra charges you could get with rerolling the flask.

If you think you might run out of flask uses during boss fights you could use
or get more crit.

Thanks for your answer Tek ! I'll keep my divine :)

Got some other questions if you don't mind,

I'm currently lvl 73, got all needed stuff: all flasks, been quite lucky to 6l my carcass in about 50fuses. I have to work on my other stuff to have better rares.

I'm wondering what ascendancy to choose next, I have taken Master Surgeon in cruel.

I see that some people follow the OP guide (Master Herbalist + Veteran Bowyer) and some take Master alchemist.

for the moment I feel like the dmg are 'ok' but not crazy, master alchemist looks great to help flasks up but I don't feel that I'll get a lot more damage.

what is your feeling about that ?

Got another question regarding to cap crits. For the moment I'm at around 38% without charges. I'm currently heading to 'trickery' and 'assassination' so I'll get some more points.
I feel like it will be a bit low after that, is it ok to remove essence worm to get 2 diamond rings ? and so hatred will take 50% of my mana. I'm playing sc so don't need as much tankiness as hc.

finally last question :) Currently playing with: BV, spell echo, inc AOE, added fire, inc CC, inc, CC Damage. It's not the recommanded gems in the OP but, without that I feel like my crits will be too low.

It seems that if we follow the OP recommandations, crits in general will be quite low. Am I missing something ?

Thanks for your answers !

I personally like veteran bowyer + master herbalist more than going for master alchemist. The poison dmg from herbalist is a nice dps boost (not visable in tooltip dps) and the 10% extra dmg and flask charge generation from bowyer helps aswell. The advantage from master alchemist is the status aliment immunity. The most dangerous one of those is shock which you can just remove with a flask that has the "Grounding" mod.

Ye the crit chance with this build is rather low. What I did to fix it was going for additional crit nodes, got a Diamond flask, replaced the rathpith with a shield that has 100% spell crit chance and just like you did aswell I'm using inc crit chance and inc crit dmg. I also tried to get as much crit dmg on jewels as I could possibly get. Im not sure if the 50% reduced mana is worth the 30% global crit from another diamond ring but its worth a try I guess.

Im using the exact same gems as you do. Sometimes I replace inc aoe with conc effect or faster casting depending on the map mods. If you want to go crit with this build you are kinda forced to use crit strikes and crit dmg gems.
