Did Core + Vaal Temple + Minotaur all vaaled with some annoying mods (temp chains + enfeeble +boss dmg), ended up dying once in each to the bosses. I end up running out of flasks then dying when the bosses are around 25%hp remaining, will swap out my HP flask for an Overflowing Chalice next time I try those. If that doesn't work I will probably need to swap out controlled destruction for crit chance.
Going to do a few Uber Atziri in the hopes of getting an Acuity.
I have gone +Armor & +Evasion on Gloves + Boots + Helm + Belt to try boost all defences. Working really well, can tank pretty much any hit I have received so far as long as I have available mana + flasks, and the evasion is noticeable against Argus and such.
Im at 5.2khp and 22k dmg with incr area in HO, full buffed Im at 81k
I did phoenix and hydra, both with 1 death. Im 1 shot at phoenxi, so need to move, hydra was a\out of flask but because of poor management
I run blasfemy for QoA and its softcore, if i die there is no problem
If I drop some dmg and get 1 more jewel with hp and hp/resist gloves I go to 5.8k
81k buffed? What level are you? Using Rathpith or dual wielding? At level 91 I'm getting 16.4k fully buffed with increased AoE gem. What am I doing wrong....

With the conversion vinktars costing 260c+ in hardcore leagues what the next best alternive. I'm probably better of regretting into a CI build as feel really squishy with life.

Use the cheapest Vinktars and use Physical to Light in your 6th socket.

Cheap way is swap the added fire out for Phys to Light. CI isn't a cheap way to build, and if you need to respec it's even more expensive. Another "cheap" way would be to hold off until you can afford the conversion Vinktars. Or buy a cheap corrupted 6L with the colors your need (20-30c) and use that with the cheap Vinktars.

Hey Tek280, I took a look at your version of the tree and it seems like you get better ehp and better damage. Think it's worth all the regrets I need to get from my tree to yours?

Yes just like you said. One bladevortex setup with: BV, curse on hit, warlordsmark and powercharge on crit.
The second BV is used in your 5 or 6 link and is used for dmg. You could use something like : BV, spell echo, added fire, crit dmg, crit chance, inc aoe. Or what ever you like more ^^.

The only reason I respeced was that I got atziri's acuity and could get rid of vaal pact. If you can't run uber atziri to farm the gloves or buy them I wouldn't change the passive tree. You wont have enough leech without vaal pact imo. But if you can afford the gloves its definitly worth repspeccing.

You can self cast both bladevortex setups. Curse on hit works like corrupted gloves with the "vulnerbility on hit" or "elemental weakness on hit" implicit. The difference is that you choose your own curse : warlordsmark and the skill which has to hit your target in our case bladevortex. Everything that gets hit with the 4L Bv setup will then curse an enemy with warlords mark. You dont have to trigger anything in this setup, everything is selfcast.
