Hmmmm have droped 3 pure exalted in 2 weeks of perandus, and always get so much chaos from vendor recipe, i think loot works fine

Can do all map mods except double reflect. This is the best advantage people fail to look at. You dont need to spend much currencies on rolling high tier map. Just alc for pack size and go. I have done double magaera with -max resist and TC, double residence dominus with TC and boss haste, double observatory vaal oversoul etc

How good is the ES on your 6L armour set up? With 1K ES i would imagine ur HP never drop and fully utilize melee on full life gem. Whats your armour rating currently? I'm thinking of going hybrid EVA/ES on 2 piece of gears since im still using IR as currently stuck with 6L Coil.
The extra 1k+ ES is actually working great, but it requires some good gears since you'll need a lot of int to equip good base ES gears.
For my case, I had to drop herald of ash and use Determination + Hatred with enlighten gem. (I think you need at least level 3 enlightenment to not worry about mana) Not sure about your case, but you should compare grace vs determination since you have IR.
With the aura, I currently have 11001 armour and with granite flask, 28513.
My ES is sitting at 1233.
I am satisfied with my current armour/es ratio, and my next goal is to get max chaos resist. (currently sitting at 104% in hideout)
It's harder than BoR version, since I also need to worry about intelligence at the same time, but it's a lot of fun getting one gear by one :D
And yea, going eva/es good piece should do the work if you have IR.
I also do want to test lightning coil at some point, please do share your experience once you get all the gears, kinda curious !
I tried to get a hand on helmet, gloves, boots with EVA/ES with triple resist or double resist and high HP but unfortunately such items do not exist yet in perandus softcore market. id imagine 1k ES only works when combine with high armour and lowering the stats would definitely hurt the idea so i have to patiently wait for someone to sell these items. I think i am less likely to consider helmet as i need also rare enchantment earthquake duration on it.

yea being able to whirling blade is a game changer in many cases. Best exmaple would be malformation piety become a joke. Standing in the blood vortex actually regening the shield during flask up and whirling blade across laser to dodge

I've started a similar build, and just found this thread, looks like you went a slightly different and probably better way on the tree to me, so might steal a few ideas!
Originally was going to use the 6l carcass I already had, until I realised how many chromes I'd need, so went shopping. 6ls are amazingly cheap now, Got this for 1.2ex with a bad life/armour roll (good resists though) and chaos spammed it a bit. about 30-40 chaos later ended up with
Not bad for less than 2ex!
I couldn't think of anything standout, are there any good levelling 1h uniques? I like levelling with at least similar skills to endgame, so am going melee all through. Was using gorebreaker and now a lavianga's wisdom as I had them in stash.
Otherwise will just look for a cheap rare.
