Bloodlust is ok for certain bosses (Counter trigger gems can give bleeding), but I suggest added fire since there's no conditions to apply increased damage.

As I'm using a 6L armor, this is my current gem set up - earthquake, less duration, melee physical damage, increased area damage, added fire, melee physical on full life. As I think added fire damage has the consistency in term of damage, I'm using it as my 6th link. I tried concentrated effect + increased area of effect combo and I do not like the radius being so small and lead to slower clear speed as monster in a group are 1 shot anyway without concentrated effect. Thus the question I asked about replacing melee physical on full life.

There is another gem set up which uses physical to lightning but I do not like too much of elemental damage as it is more dangerous than physical damage.

I know my gear is far away from beeing good. With this setup I reach 78/78 block or 77/77 block without Aegis (rare 30% block shield)

My DPS is around 17k with suboptimal Tree due to a lack of regrets actually :D

Once my Gear is upgraded my DPS should be around 25kish if I use Abby its about 30k. But I'm not sure yet if I want to use Abbyssus.

Note: This is the first time ever I play a pure melee build, and I'm loving it so far. I facetank everything, even scary things like Jungle Valley boss. Only Village Ruin is skipped. When my gear is upgraded I will try Atziri and T15 maps.

edit: One thing about Ele Reflect: It isn't that scarry, you'll barely notice it. Phys reflect can be tricky but with 6 EC its not that hard.

I would need 1% block from jewels to be capped when i get aegis, and i also plan to grind for 6l astral from cards. Later on i plan to use 6l lightning coil.
I'm leveling hatred, herald of ash, grace and arctic armour. I will be switching auras depending on the maps, but since i just started mapping i use hatred and hoa all the time cuz im tanky as hell.
