{3.0} Necronomicon / Raise Spectre Monster Info...[The Unofficial Minion Wiki]

its working for me as well, but sometimes, maybe 1 out of 20, its not working (no monster mods on the map)
no idea why and yes, i used desecrate with echo for like 15 minutes and nothing

but its only a minor problem

where is Slashed Miscreation? I can't find it.
The best place to find them is to roll or buy Demonic prefix maps. Like this: http://poe.trade/search/monarinaretasu

looks pretty weak so far... bad skills, bad mob AI.
my prediction is we'll get fucked by low mlvl while raising old spectres. I don't want another 2 years of fireballs, lol.

they need to rework RS gem and tie spectre lvl scaling to gem lvl, simples. something I suggested years ago...
their original argument for downscaling spectres based on zone lvl was/is that they don't want high lvl spectres to go into low zones and destroy everything with ease, while that is exactly what every single other high lvl gem/skill does... as they should. ridiculous.

I expect they are doing a major rework on raise spectre, since if they dont address mlvl, we'll lose access to most of them since currently Merc difficulty is relatively flat level wise (you can take goats from A2 into maps easy enough) but without difficulty levels it leaves us with just the final couple acts.

The simpliest thing they could do is make it like raise zombie so it just scales up/down as needed. If they made the spectre based on the gem level, then empowered RS might be a thing.

With the changes to skeletons, i'm now wanting to run zombies, spectres, golems and skeletons. having 2-3 of them in a 6-link with severed/united + damage auras is looking like fun.
Really like the idea of this thread and love to see the community working together, After seeing this post i felt really inspired to give Raise spectres another shot with necro aegis in LHC, and after alot of testing i found the Malachais loop shield to very consistant for making crit spectres work for almost any fast attacking spectre, and for some reason they dont get the shock from the shield as well? Just something worth noting if you ever want to try critical strike spectres in any way as it generates power charges relatively fast and gives 200% critical strike chance per charge with up to 800% critical strike chance, i found this to be best paired with undying incinerators for their high trap crit damage and fire bombs, flame sentinels were also a good choice.

iirc minion crit multiplier is 130% / or +30%, to make them really good you'd have to use increased critical damage.
I've been doing a crit animated guardian with bino and 2 malachai's loops. One for me and for the guardian for a total of 6 power charges. Making him basically crit capped even with not the max amount.
I also want to try him with the Baron and Brutus Lead Sprinkler. Lot's of str. for the AG for Dual Wield Lead Sprinkler Damage and (hopefully) life. With 1000 str. it's basically a Kaom's for the AG. 600-900 average damage dependin on str. should work nicely.

I've also fiddled around with Devourer Spectres for boss killing. In my opinion they do have the best AI. They burrow directly to the enemy and are stationary, constantly attacking. With mobile spectres I usually run into the problem of them stopping midfight whenever I use another skill and running towards the mouse cursor.

never thought about the interaction with that on animated guardian, pretty neat actually. devos are something i haven't bother with in a while but my main issue was their ai last i used them, do you have alot of attack speed with them or something to get them to burrow more frequently?

Only what's available through necromancer auras, but the Burrow is probably on an internal cooldown. For clearing they aren't that great, I use Convocation to get them to a point of interest and let them do their stuff. Sentinels / Fire Raisers / Merveil's blessed are still king. I only use them when nothing else is available since I don't look for the right spectre, I summon them as I map. They are fun to watch though.
I regularly switch to Undying Alchemist because of the Severed in Sleep / United in Dreams.

There are certainly some funny combinations with AG. Decay Weapon, Hysteria boots, etc. Bringer of Rain makes them really tanky (3 end charges for 45% ele / phys resist).
Not great, but more interesting than Dying Breath / Leercast / Victario's Flight.
