It will send the fireballs faster and further. Further so u clear more things in a single volley and the faster projectile parts helps instantly deliver damage to packs killing them before they have a chance to damage you. Again these gem loadouts are pretty much my personal taste/opinion. I like to go more clear/utility then swap to damage for single target. Controlled destruction is good if your not going crit spectre. Going to quote myself from another thread: " Ok so the regular loadout is designed to clear as fast as possible. Tier10+ flame sentinels already pack so much damage they clear packs in 1-2 hits from their base damage alone. GMP gives you more projectiles to cover more ground, faster projectiles sends your projectiles out faster and further, iAOE will increase the overlap potentially aoe shotgunning mobs as well as giving fireballs more area = more things hit. Elemental focus forces them to not be able to ignite(which is actually a lot of damage), in the current state of the game minion damage, projectile damage, and area damage will double dip with DoT damage. This effectively doubles your stats. For example minion damage gem becomes 100% more damage. Controlled destruction isn't bad. But there are better choices since our spectre with 3 power charges can actually crit quite often which is a free 230% damage modifier. As for the single target loadout RS + Spell Echo + poison + Minion Damage + faster proj/point blank + conc Every support gem there is used to take advantage of the double dipping mechanic on DoTs. point blank can be used on slow moving/stationary bosses for maximum damage. When fireball hits as long as it does not pierce or chain or forks it will explode where it hit and anything caught in that area will be damaged. Got a free gem slot to fill and have no idea with what. Mobility is a possibility (warp/flame dash) but phase run is lightning fast already and it is steady. The free gem slot is in an 1hand weapon. Convocation and Lightning Golem are linked to it. So, i search for a support gem to enhance any of those OR an active skill to support my build. Something defensive is VERY welcome. You'll need to set your profile to public if you want to show anything. Other then that another mobility or utility skill is always good. Rejuv totem, decoy, flame dash, ect. Your phase run can't go over cliffs/gaps. Hide Characters tab Unchecked. Was it the right option? Can you see my chars now? Decoy totem sounds great. Does it work for Map or/and the Lab boss? Hi, I was having a blast using Sky-Callers, but I can't find them anymore. Is there another enemy that has something like orb of storms? I need a fast AoE caster to clear cluster of small hp enemies. Or roll a goat-man map that is guaranteed to have it.
