Challenges... in Labyrinth
Are utter bs. Not all of them, mainly talking about the enchants-one (and slightly trinkets, though it's a lot less annoying).
What the fuck really. With beyond godlike realm rng I have to run that dc/crash fest 12 times at minimum. In reality I have to run it a lot more to get a specific type of enchant from HUNDREDS of fucking possible ones. Is this "challenge" about how well you can keep your rage in check while trying to clear utterly boring bs content over and over? And don't you fucking dare come in and say "but OPTIONAL MIMIMIMIMIMIMI I SO CLEVR". [s]only mindless sheep think labyrinth is OK to have in PoE.[/s] okay nevermind labyrinth, fix dx9 blackscreen instead... Last bumped on Mar 14, 2016, 1:58:51 PM

" also this is Path of RNG, what do you want? Challanges are in game to give long goals from players not something that you can do in 10 minutes. There is enough hard and easy, long and short challanges. also about challanges: " Doing lab many times is something that needs great mental or physical effort. " sad truth 1: You need better PC and internet. sad truth 2: Game was made by indie studio in time of windows XP, even best PC can have problems with POE good information: GGG is non stop working on making technical aspekt of PoE better. " While that may be true in some cases, it absolutely is not the main problem. Plenty of people use high-end gaming PCs with fast internet connections and still have performance and stability issues.
" check sad truth 2 ;) and having gt970 over 4 year old card should help anyway "Is there such a thing as an absolute, timeless enemy? There is no such thing, and never has been. " This game shouldn't even need a high end card. |

" Sure, but it doesn't really help as much as one may think. I'm running on a 980Ti, i7 6700K, 16GB RAM, dual SSD (os / games) on a 250Mbps internet connection that has an average (and quite stable) 30-32ms ping. Yet, I'm getting FPS drops, and Lockstep is unplayable due to micro stuttering & random freezes. And I'm not alone, sadly. Also, before getting my new PC I was running on a 4-year old i5 computer with much lower specs, and PoE played similarly on that machine. Iirc it was an i5-3570K/GTX680. Still a decent PC but way slower than my new one, in every aspect. So yeah, up to a certain point your PC matters, but mostly the performance problems are related to PoE itself.
" When the challenge comes in the form of "oh shit let's hope we don't get randomly dc'd during this run" instead of "oh shit let's try our best not to die during this run" there's something very clear wrong with the situation. Well, something very clear to me at least. [s]only mindless sheep think labyrinth is OK to have in PoE.[/s]

Do the laby really really fast then. There are several build types that have an easy time with the labs. I suggest using them. You can make a lab trivialising build for less than 30 chaos

5-8 min lab runs here it's pretty fucking good on my necromancer lol

Sounds about right. Summoner's can get pretty high Ms and the minions can autonomously refill flasks as you are zipping around. Some of the labs suck tho.
