And this. The only thing I want out of the current mystery box is the spectral basilisk pet. But rather than burn through god knows how many points in boxes, I think I'll just wait til the spectral basilisk goes on sale, and buy it outright.

Last time I ended up with 4 stacks of northern lights, 3 snow decoratations, two duplicates of skill effects I already owned, one (actually really cool) ice crystal, and a hatred skull which is so ugly I'll never use it. Was pissed. This time I bought two boxes just to test the waters and got the seraph footprints (woorth 150 points, will match nicely with the golden seraph set I earned in 1m flashback) and the exclusive bronze gargoyle. Well played, GGG, I will probably buy more before the league is through. Many items I actively want, plenty more I wouldn't be disappointed to get for 25 points.

I see the issue of duplication hasn't been addressed, though -- I know it's a lot more complicated to actually take a user's mtx stash contents into account than to just do weighted random results, and I know there's no way to know which items which players wouldn't mind having duplicates of (there are certainly some I might actively seek out and some I wouldn't mind) but the post from the guy who got 7 gloves, 1 chest, 1 hat, and no shoes demonstrates how ridiculous it is, and the players who spend the most money end up with the most waste -- that needs to be addressed somehow, whether it is programming that reduces the chance of duplicates or an option to cash in items that appeared in a mystery box for, say, half the cost of the box they appeared in, or something else.

Now if the labyrinth would magically start sucking less so I don't have to pay chaos to ascend, that'd be nice. -.-

What I wanted the least is what I got the most, I gambled and lost horribly. Lesson learned.

Thank you GGG but I will pass. Chances to get a full set are slim to none. I rather just buy something I want directly.

Can't complain about these ones, I could always use more skin transfers.
