You are "behind" if you don't... but who cares? I don't. Now... I have to ask myself if not caring is good for GGG. I don't think so. They should be working to give us stuff that we would care about. Those last two points are walled behind far too many layers of gates to make it even worth trying for. The problem isn't exactly the lab... it's that they've made a game where the difference between the haves and the have-nots is far too extreme to make additions to the game work for both groups. It didn't have to be the lab... it could have been anything. Gating bonuses behind obstacles that can't be overcome by many of your players is going to cause them to look for other games. Especially when some suggested change would need a significant development time. Plus speaking about hostility and flame and using the word "asshole" in the same message .... /facepalm This thread shows that some players don't like the lab, and keep on flaming and trolling over and over. That kind of gating only alienates people from the game and decimates the hc population. GGG should remember that not only the most hardcore of players enjoy PoE.
